Several menu items were missing and the food took almost an hour to arrive with one meal having to be substituted 5 minutes before we actually got our food. The staff seemed completely phased and unhappyMore

Hi There, Absolutely sorry about your meal on Sunday. As you quite rightly pointed out we were rather busy and it was compounded by a staff member breaking her toe half an hour before service started meaning we were down a team member for the...More

Really friendly staff, a good pub vibe (first time I've been for years but it never disappoints after 15 years of intermittent visits!). The food is delicious but I would argue that the portions are relatively small, particularly the roasts!More

I come to Exmouth every 2 weeks and have eaten here half a dozen times during the winter. Atmosphere, service, quality and consistency of food are all excellent. Every visit is a pleasure!

Even in the middle of winter on a cold night the Grove has plenty of customers eating freshly cooked meals. The furniture is simple yet welcoming and the open fire a great asset! Fuller’s beers and a range of lagers are a good start to...More

Hi Alan, Glad you enjoy us! You'll have to come back and try the Lady Nelson roast on a Sunday, its one of the better roasts in town I think. Anyhoo, we'll try and move a bit faster next time too :) Regards George
