I love the grove and make a point to visit whenever in exmouth. But this time we popped in for a late lunch, and ended up hiding from the hale. The stag were friendly and helpful. It's the off season ATM, and so generally quiet, but the Grove is always a great place to visit.

As 2 couples we ate at the Grove on Saturday night. The pub is in the super seafront location with a beer garden at the front. A good section of ales. The menu offered a good selection of meals. 2 of us had the Lamb Shoulder which was over cooked and tough, very disappointing. The hake was ok, but dry.... More

We had lunch at The Grove during a weekend visit to Exmouth. If the weather is good, there is a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. The food and beer were very good and the welcoming ambience enjoyed by all.

We were visiting on Easter Saturday and were surprised to see the burger shack and outside bar in the garden. It saves queuing inside where it can get quite busy. We ordered a plain, bacon and chicken burger with fries. Wow they were amazing with my son saying his was the best burger he had ever had. The outside bar... More

We chose to sit outside as it was a nice day :) the outside area was clean and the flower beds well looked after. There is a 'Doggy Bar' for the K9's to grab a drink :) and they are welcomed inside and outside :) The food was tasty and presented well! The savoury scones in particular were very good... More

Busy pub with good food and beer. Very busy on Easter Saturday but we were served quickly. Direct access to the beach from the front of the pub.

The Grove has a terrific menu and super efficient staff. Could happily recommend this. A good range of drinks available. This dog friendly hostelry is just a short walk from the beach.

Took our granddaughter for evening meal as had been recommended. Warm welcome on arrival and table reserved as requested. Sampled good beer and studied menu which was quite comprehensive. Chose 1 x Spring Rolls with rice and veg. Chose 1 x Grove Burger with fries. (Massive) Chose 1 x Chicken with fries and veg. I know doesn't sound very exciting,... More

Visited with friends and the dog. It's a varied menu featuring local produce. Service was a tad slow but not bad. Exmouth mussels were small and a little gritty. Hubby's burger was over cooked but as we were in a group we were happy enough to eat what was served. £9 for a large NZ SAivi B did seem a... More
