Went with family over Christmas and food was good but large portions, kids felt very welcome in a busy pub which was reasonably priced for the seafront. Very nice and would go back again when I'm visiting the area

Having suffered the Bar at the Premier Inn where we were staying, and the pub with no beer opposite called the Bath House we came across the Grove. The ladies behind the bar were lovely and well mannered, they really looked after us. The food was delicious and the beers were well kept. My good ladies wine was more than... More

I came here in the summer with friends to have lunch. We sat upstairs on the balcony facing the ocean in the sun. It was a lovely hot day but the place was perfect. We sat there for hours eating lunch and drinking rose. The staff were very friendly, you had to order down at the bar (not table service)... More

We tried this restaurant as it was recommended by one of the lady from our hotel . Foods is really nice servings are average . Only thing is it's too busy and it took time for us to order and be served . But I would recommend .

We had a very nice meal here while staying at the nearby Dolphin hotel (see separate review). Excellent Young's ales, including Winter Warmer; hearty food (including enough choice for us veggies); and friendly staff. There's a large beer garden out front which I bet is great in summer.

We popped into The Grove yesterday for a few drinks and a bite to eat! I had the fishfinger ciabatta which was delicious with chunky chips! Yummy!

Visited early evening with v young child, v friendly meet and greet, looks like a proper pub inside with attractive bar, lots of sitting inside and out, extensive and different menu, we ate venison pie, hake supreme, local sausages, pulled beef brisket burger - all well presented, tasty and good sized portions. Excellent Youngs beer and wine. Would strongly recommend... More
