Unfriendly, dreadful food, overpriced. With few pubs in the area, they obviously feel they don't have to make an effort.

This pub is also the village shop and Post Office. And serves good at breakfast, lunch and dinner times. Very friendly local Inn. I imagine their regular menu relies on frozen foods, but their specials board has home-cooked fish, meat and vegetarian choices. Superb!

For two days in a row, I especially enjoyed the good English breakfast of bacon and bangers. The restaurant has a breath-taking view of the River Dart.
