Having caught the ferry over especially to go to the Ferry Boat Inn for lunch we were not disappointed. We had been warned that it got very busy at lunchtime but luck was with us and we were able to get a table immediately. Both the ham and brie baguettes and the antipasti platters were excellent. Would thoroughly recommend.

My wife and I dropped into the Ferry Boat Inn today, half way around a lumpy walk from Dartmouth to Dittisham and back. We had battered haddock, chips and peas for two and I couldn't fault it. I must confess, I had the same meal for dinner yesterday at the Rockfish in Dartmouth and both the food and the beer... More

Had lunch at this lovely quirky pub. The food was delicious and the views stunning. Staff were friendly and efficient. We had a window seat, felt privileged. We got the ferry over from Greenway and had an excellent afternoon. The prawns in garlic and cream served on spaghetti was exceptional and the prices very reasonable for the quality of food.... We arrived at about 6pm on a Sunday evening and they weren't doing food which was a bit disappointing. We grabbed a couple drinks and headed to the outside tables. Beautiful view although the tables miss the evening sun. A beer and a glass of prosecco = £12.. bit pricey. Summary... lovely location and great view. Pub appears to be... More

Went for an evening meal, no tables all full, but said come back later, went back & got a cosy table at the back. Worth the wait, good Duck leg cassoulet & Devon Apple spine & Custard. Friendly service

The fact that the restaurant has only a few tables means that many people were outside with drinks and eats. At low tide, the atmosphere on that sunny day was festive and fun.

Lovely for dogs. That's it really. We called in after a walk across the area. You can get a ferry to Agatha Christie's holiday home

We called at the pub on the Saturday and they managed to squeeze us in for lunch on the Sunday. Very friendly staff and we were served within 10 minutes of arriving. I had the beef and my partner chose pork. The food was excellent and the accompanying vegetables also. If you're in the area I would highly recommend it.... More

As soon as we walked into the FBI we knew we were in for a treat. We were lucky to get a table at the window which must be one of the best views in the country-being able to while the time away watching the ferry boat and other boats sailing up and down the river Dart. Our meal was very enjoyable... We struck lucky as we hadn't booked, but got a table looking out the front window at a fantastic view across the Dart. The staff are friendly, the beer and food is good with no delays.
