Just returned from a visit to the The Smugglers Inn. I have to say everything was excellent...on arrival we were shown to our table, a menu was presented straight away, drinks order taken. We then ordered and the food was served hot and quickly! I was really impressed with this place, I can see why it is No. 1 on... More

Called in while on a weekend in Devon. Sat in the bar area as the restaurant was closed, however the full menu was still available excluding the carvery. I had the steak and kidney pudding which I have to say is the best I have had in a restaurant. I normally have to play hunt the kidney amongst a mass... More

We visited The Smugglers Inn whilst travelling in between business meetings. This has to be the best family owned restaurant I have visited. The atmosphere was brilliant and the quality of food and service was superb. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy this fabulous restaurant

Appeared to be a little expensive, but not when you saw the portion sizes, presentation and quality. We had fabulous pork and beef carvery sandwiches which came with roast potatoes and gravy. Lovely location with sea view.

Dropped in this evening on spec. We were shown to a restaurant table straight away. The staff were welcoming and attentive...not at all overbearing. We had carveries, which were well cut and vegetables prepared to perfection. Thank goodness, this establishment also does NOT allow E cigarettes or vaping so the environmental atmosphere was also pleasant. There was some Muzak on... More

We visited here Monday just gone, chose from the carvery. Each and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed all of our meals, and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely be visiting again.
