Whenever we are crossing Dartmoor we like to stop here for a drink. The atmosphere conjures up misty winter nights, smugglers and jars of ale. The landlord and landlady are welcoming and friendly and it's great to sit in one of the little inglenooks and while away some time in such a lovely old-world place. It's important that places like... More

This pub is fine for a cosy drink on a cold March afternoon or as a stop off for walkers on Dartmoor. the views are stunning from the front of the pub. Inside is a bit of 'olde world charm' with 2 fires, one is said never to have gone out for hundreds of years. There is pub grub on... More

Had a lovely evening meal here. My hotel wasn't serving dinner so I popped into The Warren House Inn. On a chilly evening it was wonderfully cosy with open fires. The staff were really friendly and the steak was really well cooked. Rare was rare ! Just as I'd asked for it 1 Definitely worth stopping if you are passing... More

We enjoyed the new Inn (ask them what happened to the old one) with its perpetual fire that took the chill of a blustery day. The Rabbit was excellent and of course, a pint added to the overall wonderful experience.

Visited this cosy pub high up on Dartmoor for lunch. First impression was the lovely smell of burning wood from the two blazing fireplaces. A warm welcome from the staff followed. Excellent Otter ale and the meals of Rabbit pie/ beef lasagne were tasty although the vegetables with the pie were a little tired. Overall this was good pub grub... More

Been there several times. This time for a Sunday lunch. Had a Splendid authentic burger with cheesy chips. Lovely beer but wish they make their collection of ale a little better. Great people serve the food in a great location of Dartmoor. Definitely recommended.
