This little cafe with a kiosk on the harbour wall opposite stands out from the neighbouring fish'n'chip and all-day-breakfast cafes and pubs. The wooden tables, secured on chains, are distinctive and a brief glance at the menu indicated that this was somewhere different. The problem was we had a large breakfast and were anticipating a 6-course dinner. The amiable chef... More

Set on Brixham quayside in the open air beneath umbrellas, this is an ideal lunchtime spot on a warm day. The Seafood Salad platter is a good sized meal for 2 people, the fresh seafood includes all the seafood one could imagine, most of it caught fresh locally. As there were 3 of us we also had a crab salad... More

Every time we visit this is a must for us, even when the weather isn't great. A great location for lunch, fresh and tasty with friendly staff.

If you're looking for seafood and a cheeky vino then look no further. First class food and service in the sun.

Simply the best crab sandwiches in the county. Claws is one of the main reasons we go to Brixham and have often taken a 100 mile detour just to eat here and now there is a "Claws indoors" opposite if the weather is not good. Simply the best and really good prices.

We come to Brixham every October and visit Claws for a prawn cocktail lunch. Brilliant as ever this year. Lots of tasty prawns and sauce. Really good value. Only one very small criticism, please use butter rather than margarine? Everything else is great. Thanks CJ
