I'm sorry to say this isn't a review of the food as we didn't eat. We had booked for Lunch on Saturday 25th March to sample the normal "al a carte" or Lunch menu. And they were only doing a Brunch menu. I wasn't looking for Brunch I'd had a good breakfast. I wanted something else. They said they did... More

Dear BazzerBoy, We are so sorry you were not aware that we were serving a special brunch menu on Saturday, we did try to call you to let you know but I am sorry if we failed to leave a message. The brunch menu on Saturday is currently being trialled so it's all very new. However, there are a number... More

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 November 2016

We've eaten at the Ormer a few times now and find the whole experience thoroughly faultless. Delicious food and exceptional service. Make an effort to visit if you're in Jersey. It's an absolute treat and refrains from being stuffy or elitist and is totally accessible. We took our 10 year old son as a treat and he adored it as... More

I think everytime I'm over from Guernsey I'll be making a bee line for Ormer. I've had the tasting menu in the past which had me coming back for the Turbot on my return visit (how often do you crave Turbot?). The tuna starter is stand out as well. Fresh, light and great balance of flavours. I particularly enjoyed their... More

Exceptional service, each course delivered and explained, suggested wines by Susie maitre de really enhanced the meal. The food was amazing the rabbit starter, turbot main and soufflé desert contributed to the best meal I think I've eaten. If we return to Jersey we will be back.

We have eaten at many restaurants but the meal here was absolutely outstanding. From the first greeting, to the bar service and then the meal the whole experience was amazing. The presentation of all the courses was further enhanced by the fantastic, subtle flavours throughout. A must if you are visiting Jersey.

Lovely cocktails, fab if you are into your fine, posh dinning. You can hire upstairs for private events.

A quiet Thursday in Jersey so lacking a bit of atmosphere, however food superb and staff friendly without being over fussy. Chose the a la carte and enjoyed 3 fabulous courses (we weren't going to have pud but the cherry soufflé looked just too good), cocktails, wine and sherry for £200 for the two of us. Sounds a lot but... More

The restaurant is very relaxed for such a fine dining establishment. To start we had the lobster ravioli...... what a luscious tasty starter; top drawer cooking. The main of turbot in pine nuts with jersey royal potatoes was just gorgeous. A slight disappointment was the cheese platter; good cheese but no choice offered. The sweets to finish off were stunning...the... More

We are new to the island and were looking for somewhere to have lunch and decided to give Ormer a try. My wife was thinking more of a soup and sandwich type of place which we discovered is not Ormer! Instead we were to enjoy a very unexpected relaxed memorable and fabulous Saturday lunch. We opted for the menu and... More

We made an impromptu decision to go for lunch when our meeting finished earlier. The menu is simple and elegant. Just the right amount of choice. A good balance of dishes which included a number of beautiful fish dishes, like turbot. And the service was sublime and the chef happy to cater to special requests, such as serving dover sole...
