It's in a great location for sitting in the sun in the little square outside. Relaxing and informal. Pretty standard pub food and on cue service

The sun was shining & a break was needed so we stopped off here which overlooks the square & appeared to be a favourite haunt for child minders/nannies to gather with their children. The pub is very small inside & like it's neighbour benefits from a prime location with lots of external seating, however there were a group of young... More

A spur of the moment decision to visit the Cock & Bottle for lunch with a friend - we were pleasantly surprised and the excellent quality of the food served, the set menu was interesting, varied and very good value for money, only £12.80 for 2 courses. The pub is a bit old fashioned but it has its charm and... More

Visited on Saturday evening with friends. Good selection of bears and wines. Only problem is they stop serving food early for a pub in a city centre on a Saturday about 7pm?. After several drinks we had to leave for fish and chips as no food available. Clean and friendly pub. Would recommend

Quaint but dingy. Did not eat here but had a nice drink. There were a couple of locals in the bar who were quite foul mouthed. Passed by another day and saw them both again. Not for children.

As we found out, St Helier is very busy in the evening to dine out. We walked past the Cock and Bottle earlier in the day and we revisited to have dinner. As we walked in, the pub was extremely busy. After we were served our drinks another bar lady asked if we would like to eat. She was very... More

We ate from the tennerfest menu, 3 courses for £10, so excellent value. We ate at 6pm, so it was a bit on the quiet side as it was early, but staff were great and food was good.
