Wouldn't rush back. Food ok, very British lunch time food, bit boring, floral carpets didn't help. Our party appreciates craft beer, but it was only average

We were a large family group so had booked the day beforehand. The pub is down a narrow winding lane by a beautiful bay with a large car park opposite. There is an extensive menu to suit all tastes at a reasonable prices. The service was great with friendly staff. I think you would need to book in high season... More

My partner and I were staying the other side of the bay; at low tide you can walk directly across to the smugglers inn. Just make sure you walk back before the tide cuts you off, else it's a bit of a trek 😜

We walked for a pint and expected somewhere to enjoy it. There is nowhere outside, no garde and you cannot stand outside on the road

We visited here without booking, and we were able to get a table without any problems, however, it was a Monday evening so on busier days you may need to pre-book. We ordered the Espetadas which are skewers of meat which have been seasoned and cooked and are brought to the table on the skewer dripping with butter. The skewers... More

Good - great food which came in reasonable time even though they were busy ; friendly & helpful staff (they offered to spice up my curry [which they did perfectly] ) ; good beer (3+ ales ) ; nice decor making it a great pub to drink in ; big car park opposite. Not so good; a bit out of... More

Booked a table. Winding little road to get to right next to the sea where you could actually walk from St Brelade over the sand. Good choice of pub food. Served quickly. Would go again.

Located next to a beautiful bay in an old building with low ceilings, this was the perfect setting for our meal. All the food was great, and the menu is packed with pub classics like pies, ribs, scampi and burgers. The vegetarian lasagne was also great though. Service was very friendly and the prices represented good value (about £10 for... More

The venue had been recommended to us and we were not disappointed. Good comfortable old fashioned place with oak beams and cosy rooms. Lots of choice on the menu at a good price, service spot on. Best Espatados ever had Plenty of parking close by and just a stroll to the beach.

A comfortable pub, no chrome or bright shiny woodwork. A comfortable place for a pint or a meal. The food is very tasty and the portions generous. Overall a comfortable place to spend the evening in a lovely location.
