Fantastic view of the harbour. Staff looked the part but lacked in skills. Sardines were nice but everything else we tried lacked in flavour, presentation and definitely not worth the money. Very disappointed!!

This was the choice of a Swiss client staying nearby and in my time living in Jersey, I hadn't dined here before so this was a new experience for me. It was well worth looking forward. A nice view of the harbour at night, a very decent bottle of Barolo, an excellent carpaccio starter with a succulent Saltimboca (veal) alla... More

Great to have you back. Meal was fabulous, as ever. Nothing was too much trouble. We could not pay because the card machine was not working, so all in the restaurant were trusted to leave and call in another day. That says it all. Well done to all the staff. Will be back very soon. Chug and Alastair Drummond-Forbes.

My husband and myself have been staying and eating at bon vivieur for about 10 years. The owners and staff have all become like family to us and they cant do enough for you. We were very upset to here that they had decided to retire, no were else would be the same. However the owners have just contacted us... More

I think I may just have met the rudest restaurateur in the world during my recent visit to St Aubins. I was one of the party with the baby referred to in an earlier Review who attempted to get a table at this glorified cafe last Saturday evening. I cannot express enough the hostility and arrogance which we encountered from... More

I am utterly disgusted at the "service" myself and my family members received at this establishment. Whilst passing by the restaurant we noted that around 90% of the tables were unoccupied. Given this was a Saturday night we did have our doubts as to why, but decided to give it a try on a recommendation. From the very outset a... More

We visited Bon Viveur during our visit to Jersey and looked at a few but settled for BV but a bit disappointed as the food and service were a bit average, and bread was extra, included in all other restaurants we visited.

My wife and I popped in and had their special - half lobster plus two crab claws, fries and salad plus a quarter bottle of wine each. Quality was spot on, as was the cost.

The restaurant sits in a prominent position on the quayside at St Aubin and looks attractive. It has a large seating capacity. We found the food to be disappointing - it felt that the kitchen did minimal preparation at the time of service, with most elements pre-prepared and simply heated up. We are unlikely to return.
