I went here for a staff lunch and was delighted to see not one but TWO options marked as "vegan" on the menu. It's great when restaurants state if something is vegan because it avoids a lot of hassle for both the customers/servers/chef. I ordered the wrap which was delicious but I was very tempted to try to vegan spagetti... More

New management has let this place down. Staff are lovely but a seriously pretentious menu! It's a cafe but hardly anything 'normal' on the menu! I ended up having a scone - fruit, because that's all they had - which was only ok. My partner had a chill bowl that was also only ok. Lunch items run up to 10... More

Popped in here twice for tea/coffee and a snack while staying nearby. Lovely friendly staff and some lovely desserts and cakes. Tea was loose and came with a tea-strainer - huge pot and mugs. The scone I had wasn't great, but it was the end of the afternoon so may just have gone a little dry over the day, my... More

This used to be one of my favourite places to visit for lunch and/or coffee and scone. I think this restaurant has changed management or chef recently. It is not a patch on what it used to be. We visited recently and ordered two coffees, a scone and a slice of almond bakewell cake. The bakewell was rock hard and... More

I enjoyed a gorgeous lunch with my husband and two dogs last weekend. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The food was so tasty and the views were amazing. A lovely woman named Heather was absolutely delightful also as she really made us feel so welcome and at home. I will definitely be stopping here more often.

I prefer the food here since the new owner took over. I usually get the soup and sambo deal at lunchtime which cost 10 euro. This is a good price as top quality ingredients are used. I have also been there for breakfast and got the scrambled egg and smoked salmon. What I received was delicious but I thought the... More

Ate here recently and will definitely be back. Lovely location and setting. The restaurant itself is cosy, comfortable and quirky. The food was very tasty and fresh. Lots of options on the menu. The cakes were really nice and presented well. Got a few items to take away with me as well which was very handy. Will definitely be back... More

A wet miserable day in February is not always the best time to visit new places. This was terrific. The menu was excellent. We had sandwiches and what sandwiches. We have good appetites but after our lunch we didn't eat again today. The coffee was really good. The service was so good friendly and swift. We will go again.

Have only eaten here a handful of times and have always been pleased. Never disappoints. Only ever had lunch not sure if it opens for dinner. Went during the week and it was better than ever. Great menu. Plenty of hot and cold dishes to choose from. I had a vegan wrap with a beetroot salad and I didn't leave... More
