Have now eaten here many, many times. Belgian themed restaurant, surprisingly unpretentious and affordable. I keep coming back because of the food (and perhaps the beer). Favorites include the burgers (Fries are gorgeous, swop out for small salad if you want to mix it up, or pretend that you are dieting), and the short ribs. Try the grilled Camembert as... More

This was my first visit to the Brasserie for an actual dinner. The last time was a New Year's Eve gathering with mostly drinks. I am a foodie at heart and realize this French restaurant offers unique pairings. I ordered the fried tomato salad, which was on the special menu. It was a delicious mix of greens with a flavor... It’s a new year and it was time to revisit an upscale restaurant that we hadn’t been to in 3 or 4 years. Cost is always a consideration but this venue is also a long drive from our home. This restaurant had been in business for more than 10 years. It’s a family owned, full-service restaurant and bar serving homemade... More

Stopped in for an early dinner, was immediately greeted and shown to our table by the friendly hostess. Our server arrived promptly with menus and fresh bread. She was also very helpful in explaining the menu items and daily special. We had the escargot as an appetizer, very tasty and authentic. I had the veal bolognase with butternut squash and... More

Had a great dinner. The fried oysters are some of the best! Goo New Zealand white wine. Service was perfect. Will return.

You would not expect such a wonderful restaurant in a strip mall! But this one is fabulous! Great french food and cute bistro atmosphere! We have been here several times and it never disappoints! We will return!

I wanted to take my wife out to dinner on her birthday and found the North Shore Brasserie featured in a book about places to eat in Knoxville. As we walked in we noticed the tables were set with white table cloths, silverware, cloth napkins and water glasses. Shortly after we were seated we were presented with a paper bag... More

My husband and I made reservations weeks in advance to eat here for our anniversary. I had so been looking forward to it. When we got there, it started great. We were seated immediately by a very friendly hostess and a nice young man brought us water. He said he would be back with bread, but never came back with... More

One of Knoxville's best. French and Belgian specialties by way of Charleston. Mussels, great steaks, fried oyster salad, seasonal menu specials, excellent wine list, Belgian ales, all in a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere. Highly recommended.
