Typical southern BBQ joint. Great tea, great sides, great service, great BBQ. Typical joint atmosphere, cheap tables and chairs. Hard to find, way out Chapman Highway. Well worth the trip. If you need atmosphere, you don't need BBQ.
Pig burger. Period. The baked beans were authentic and homemade. The place is tiny and fits about 10 people and the man behind the counter was a BBQ master. Food was freshly cooked in the tiny kitchen. A must stop must try destination if you're...More
scary place and location, pig burger with ketchup on white soggy bread, we had to throw our food away. beware just because it was on tv, does'nt mean it's good.
Went based on TA reviews. Not a great BBQ. Ribs good. Beans good. Pulled pork not tender. Looks like it is not basted or slow cooked. Served covered in sauce. Pretty weak. Should have has the pig burger. Was $27 for 1/2 slab, pulled pork,...More
Had the ribs and tried the pork burger. The ribs were nothing special and the pork burger was just rice and ground pork in a paddy with white bread. I didn't care for the sause at all(spicy ketchup). wouldn't go again.
