When you step into Jig and Reel you instantly feel at home. No matter what drink you fancy, there's something for everyone. Magners is on tap for the cider lovers, drafts and bottles for the beer crowd, and over 700 whiskies for the whisky-lovers. Thursday's are dram nights - all whiskies are 1/2 the usual pour (1/2 oz each) for... More

Our daughter and son-in-law were in town for Christmas and since his last name is Boyd we had to bring them here. Authentic Scottish dishes and Awesome Scotch. Great music too!

OMG.. Best selection of Scotch in Knoxville. Great food and friendly establishment. But SCOTCH!!! check out the flights. Amazingly good varieties and well versed servers to help your experience.

At a place that says "seat yourself " the waitstaff should do a better job of checking the tables. We sat for quite a while before anyone approached our table. We then ordered a Scotch Egg which was the worst one we've ever had, it was very dry. I had the mac/cheese and husband had soup/salad, none was really good.... More

My wife and I just had our first and last dinner at the restaurant because it was horrible. We both ordered the steak and ale pie, which was a favorite of ours when we traveled through England and Scotland. The pie we were served literally had the consistency of canned dog food. Neither of us could even eat half the... More

Stopped in here Friday night for a drink and to listen to the band. Good number of lagers and ales on tap and a large drink menu. We did not eat anything but the food looked good going to the other tables. Our server was very good and kept our drinks coming while we were there. The bar has a... More

Just wish it was open earlier than 4 on the weekends. Large place and decorated really neat. My boyfriend is part British and grew up in England and he loved it. We plan to bring our kids there to try some of the food he grew up eating.

My wife and I were celebrating our 13th anniversary and decided to try Boyd's based on the reviews and the Scottish theme. We are restaurateurs, but are not snobs. The wait staff was cheery and attentive. She gave us recommendations and being new to this eatery, we went with them. My wife had bangers and mash. I had the steak... More

Boyd's Jig and Reel was recommended to us by a Bell Hop at a nearby hotel in downtown Knoxville. It did not disappoint! The ambiance alone was worth the short walk to get there. It is a Scottish bar (and not an Irish bar as indicated on their humorous t-shirts) and had an extensive collection of Scotch Whiskey. There were... More
