Food was excellent and atmosphere was nice. Good selection on menu and fair prices. Dinner menu looked a little high but I'm sure it tastes great. Will have to try for dinner sometime.

After a hiatus of a few years from Gourmet and Company due to a less than a good meal we re-visiteed last week and had a delicious meal that exceeded our expectations significantly, I had a beet salad with a petit filet cooked to perfection. My wife, the vegetarian, had a vegetable plate that 'was the best I've ever had... More
My husband and I are always looking for new restaurants to try. We recently enjoyed lunch at Gourmet and Company. They have outdoor seating, and it was a lovely afternoon. I had the Mountcastle sandwich, and my husband had the Gourmet Burger. We both were very satisfied with our selections...fresh, hot, tasty. The service was also very good...attentive, but not... More
I moved to this area in 2001. Gourmet at that time only served take out lunches. Gradually they started dinner service for 3 nights of the week. Eventually they opened more spaces and have never disappointed in lunch and dinner meals. Their food is always fresh and they sometime run out of a dish but it is because the food... More
For the most part everything was good. I think the cashier needs an attitude adjustment, I have seen her be so rude at times to me and others. Not very people friendly. That turns customers away. The food is great.
We enjoyed a fantastic meal for 4 on the outside patio. Very friendly and fast service and we didn't feel rushed even though we were the last folks there. It's pricey, but we were able to order off the bar menu, which is quite reasonable.
Atmosphere pleasant and relatively intimate Food limited menu Effort to be healthy and chic but requires a specialized palate

We split a Soup Du Jour which was a wild mushroom soup that was to die for. The best I ever had. Hubby got... More
I have been to this restaurant before, and I always enjoyed it. What I like best about it is the quality of the food. It's just that simple. The setting is lovely and classic, without being ornate or stuffy. But the food, no matter what you order, is consistently wonderful. I drove 1.5 hours to Johnson City to take a... More
The location is bit odd, off the main drag in a retail strip that seems to be only partially occupied. But once you get inside, the decor and ambiance are more revealing. The menu includes a nice variety of some good dishes. Both my co-worker and I had the day's special which was a barrel fish entree with some nice... More
