If you like sushi, you need to head to Sakura. In the past few months, the "new" sushi chef is doing cramazing (crazy/amazing) work. The food is always tasty, but that comes in a close second to his off the charts presentation. Ask to be seated in the sushi bar so you can get to talk with this talented guy.... More
Terrible timing of food, and a poor execution of Japanese flavour. I have eaten a lot of Japanese food in my life and the flavour of the chicken Bento meal was not even in the ballpark. I asked for edamame as an entree to snack on and this came out last, also my meal came out more than ten minutes... More
A group of 15 friends happened to chose this spot for dinner. We arrived at 7pm and yes the place was crowded but we were ok to wait on a table for us all. My wife and I like to go here on Saturday's for lunch and go through the habachi grill. It takes a while for service but it is fun having a show with lunch.
I love going to Sakura for lunch. They have several lunch specials that are terrific. I usually get the Teriyaki Chicken which comes with rice, vegetables, soup, and salad. Its freshly prepared in front of you just like the evening meals and it is a great way to spend your lunch hour being entertained by the chef.
Went to Sakura with a group of 12. The food was ok nothing really to brag about, rice was WAY over cooked and the meats were limited on flavoring. However on a positive the staff and chefs were very good! Funny, welcoming, and friendly. May try again later down the road but not anytime soon.
