Gyro salad was just fair. Tzatziki wasn't good. Lived in Greece for three years. I cook better Greek food at home than I've found in Memphis. Only authentic Greek food I've enjoyed locally was Milo's Taverna and it is no longer open. :(

We ordered the spicy gyro and chicken shawarma for lunch. Both were outstanding! Also tried the baklava and it is THE BEST we’ve ever had. Owner is a gem! Super friendly guy. Highly recommend this place. We’ll be back!

We were looking for mediterranean food for dinner, and it was a holiday weekend. The other alternative was closed so we searched for this one. we arrived at 5:45 to find out they close at 6 and only do takeout after 3pm? The gyros were...good. The pita bread appeared homemade. I'd eat there againMore

We paid our first visit to Cafe Med tonight. They have no eat-in evening dining at this time, but we took home a sumptuous dinner: a chicken special served with rice and whipped garlic spread; a Yanni pita with baba ganoush and tabouli; an olive...and feta dip that came with toasted pits triangles; and pistachio baklava. The owner gave us two glasses of delicious herbal tea. We arrived home with this feast of flavors, seasonings, and spices—everything delectable. This is the best food we have had in Memphis in the last three months since we moved here. We hope to return and work our way down the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant. There is free off street parking out front.More

I was with co-worker going to other restaurant, but they were still did not have dining room open. I spotted this place walking back across parking lot. My friend had the Original Gyro and I had the Cafe Med Pita. He stated this was one...of the best Gyros he has eaten. My chicken pita was awesome. They served cold penna noodles with sandwiches, i could have eaten these by the bowl as a meal itself. I will definitely will be returning.More

this was a delightful little cafe with good food! My classic gyro was one of the best I have had, and we split a baklava - certainly glad we did that! I could have had a whole one to myself!

I went with my wife, son, and daughter in law for lunch. The owner was very engaging and helpful with us. He will prepare items for you that are not on the menu as well. We all enjoyed our meal and will return in the future.

I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this restaurant. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, providing top notch service. The food portions are generous and the prices decent too. The gyros are stuffed full of high quality ingredients and they aren’t...stingy with the meat like many gyro places are. The baklava is very tasty and the Turkish coffee....I need an IV drip of that stuff, SO DELICIOUS. I haven’t reviewed anywhere in about a year and a half, but this restaurants deserves recognition. Come here!More

Great family run restaurant with authentic Greek food. Gyros are best in Memphis along with a full menu of other dishes. Prices are reasonable. It’s tucked away and hard to find unless you know about it but you won’t be disappointed inside.

My Husband saw an online recommendation for Cafe Med and thought, what the heck, let’s go. We arrived at about 6pm on a Saturday night. The restaurant wasn’t busy, so we seated ourselves and the adventure began. The owner Nadeem, was in the restaurant. He...made fantastic recommendations including the love boat (which I loved), The Blanco Gyro, and the spicy Hero Gyro. After we ate half of our meal, I ordered the dip sampler and baklava to go. This food is so fresh and soooo good! Nadeem will only feed you what he feeds his family. It’s flavorful and light but you feel satisfied. Oh and the portions are generous, we took the other half of our dinner home. Go in, tell Nadeem what you like, he will feed you like family 😊More

Nestled in a strip mall near the busy intersection of Kirby Parkway and Poplar, I hadn't noticed this restaurant before today. Looking for a place where I could eat GF and healthy, we chose Cafe Med after reading some reviews. I was delighted. I ordered...the Gyro Salad and my husband ordered the Tuscan Gryo. He cleaned his plate. I couldn't quite finish it all. We did arrive at 12:45 which is after peak lunch crowds. Even so, I was very impressed with how quickly we were served our food. It was fresh and delicious. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely return.More

I stopped in to the Cafe Med by chance when on a job interview this past Friday. The food was excellent, the ingredients were fresh, the restaurant was clean, lovely artwork on the walls, my server was knowledgeable of the menu and friendly. This place...is mostly family run, the owner (Nadeem, forgive my spelling) came out, personally served me my Turkish coffee and we had a nice chat. I will definitely go back when I am in the Memphis / Germantown area again. I've eaten at numerous Mediterranean style restaurants in Mississippi and I have to say Cafe Med was definitely one of the the best, if not the best, I've ever eaten at.More
