I think they only open for Easter, Mother's Day etc but they serve one of the best buffet brunches I've ever had. Carving station, dessert station, eggs, even a bacon station last time we were there. Service is great and mimosa's are awesome! Treat yourself, you won't regret it.

We love this location for Mother's Day Brunch. There is something for everyone on the menu. Casual dress is welcome or I'd not go.

Our wedding reception was held at the McConnell House in June 2016, and it was everything we could have ever dreamed of and more. First of all, the building is gorgeous. It barely needs any decor added because it is beautiful on its own. Secondly, the food was phenomenal. People raved on and on about how delicious and unique the... More

Just came for a destination wedding. Great setting in the old jail. But the three levels were difficult for grandma to navigate. Food was good, nothing fancy & served family style. The bar was rather limited. Could not get a Manhattan because they did not have vermouth. But the staff was above & beyond for the event. Great job

We attended a wedding and reception at the McConnell House last night. It may be the best time I have ever had at a wedding! The atmosphere was fascinating and the food outstanding. I only wish I didn't live two hours away so I could Come more often.

The Mcconnell House is located in historic Franklin, Tennessee. Originally built as the local jail, a daytime drive around is worth the time to appreciate the architecture and history of this place, and not get lost in the dark! We were in town for a wedding and treated to this interesting venue for the reception. Gorgeous hardwood floors, tasteful vintage... More

My company had its Christmas Party at the McConnell house. This was an old jail and there were brick walls on the inside and it felt historic with it's hardwood flooring. The food was excellent and varied, and the servers were great. The mushroom appetizers were out of this world. There are 3 floors with different areas where you had... More

First of all you should realize that at one time the McConnell House used to be a prison among many other things in its day so you can just imagine the personality this building has. My family and I had the pleasure of dining there for a wonderful Easter brunch, it was fantastic. The service was warm and friendly, the... More

The food was not as good as last years and this was the same feeling across our party of 17.. Felt thrown together and the scale of quality of food was not up to par. .. I recall last year stating.. "We need to make this our tradition because the food was so good. Nothing really stood out this year..... More

The McConnell House has a great reputation for being a fantastic venue.....but they have recently started cooking demonstrations as well. We participated in one last night "cocktail parties" and had a fabulous time. Chef Carl was entertaining as well as an excellent chef.....anyone who has eaten at Red Pony and Cork and Cow knows that. If you are looking for... More
