We prefer local over chain restaurants. This was as local as you could get. In a way I felt like we were stepping back in time and it was a good time. The food was homemade and the service was down home.
We dropped by after shopping all day at the longest yard sale - very tired and hungry! The service was very good and the food was even better. We were serviced promptly but not rushed through our meal.
This restaurant was near our hotel which is why we decided to eat there. The pork chop was recommended and it was excellent as were the sides. We were sorry that we did not have room for dessert!
We had dinner here while traveling the 127 World's Longest Yard Sale. Food was delicious. Steak, pork chops, smashed potatoes, broccoli and salad. There was a good choice of desserts, but we were too full to try anything. Very clean place and service were excellent.
