My husband and I, along with 2 friends, ate here last night. We started with the pimento cheese and crab crackers as an appetizer. Very good, but couldn't help but think that one cracker was $2. 2 bites at the most. I was the only one to order a starter. The beet salad was excellent. The best part of the... More

My wife and I had dinner at St. John's Restaurant last night. Both our meals were the best we have had in some time. We shared a steak tartare to start our meals. My wife had trout and I had venison.....both of our entrees were excellent. The waiter recommended an excellent Medium priced bottle of wine which we thoroughly enjoyed.... More

In Chattanooga for a day we booked St. John's because in Trip Advisor it was rated the number one restaurant in town with some outstanding reviews. It certainly lived up to and exceeded our expectations. My wife and I loved the dark wood decor and overall ambience. We sat upsatairs and had a lovely view of the dining rooms on... More

My wife and I have always enjoyed our meals at the St. John's. Yes it is pricey but when we have a special occasion they are on our list of places to go first.

We were in town for a few days and heard wonderful things about this place. The service was wonderful.........our waiter offered suggestions as to the various dishes they offered. Each course of our meal was brought out by a different server. The presentation of the food was superb. Very very good experience.

A Birthday dinner for brother in law. At first we were concerned as our server had a LOT of tables. Turned out that he was great plus he had some very good helpers who tended to our every request or need. Food came quickly and each course was wonderful. Not sure what they do to the Brussels sprouts but they... More

In town for a meeting and found St. John's just up the road from my hotel. For a solo diner, I like to eat at the bar and was treated to amazing service in a quiet elegant atmosphere. The menu was comprised of well thought out choices and tonight I decided on a salad, chicken and a chocolate desert. Everything... More

My husband and I ate here to celebrate our anniversary while in Chattanooga. It is fine dining. The food was great. The pimento cheese crackers, scallops, fish, and beef were great. Excellent service and food. Not cheap but worth it to us.

First off, great old building. Love the old tile on the floor they were able to keep. Started with a pimento cheese spread on a cracker. Never thought I liked pimento cheese until tonight. There was a red pepper spread on top. For dinner, had the filet- raw. It was cooked as I asked. Seasoning on steak was really good... More

St. John's is a restaurant you will go to for the finest of dining experiences. The staff's attention to detail is near perfect. For example, when we were seated, the lady noticed that we had dark pants on and brought dark napkins instead of white napkins. Our waitress was very well versed in the menu offerings and talked with ease... More
