This is a place we usually hit once or twice a year. Spectacular Summer and Fall views. Recently updated back deck for eating as well. Food is good, mostly all fried food. Great catfish. Service isn't always the best, but we are there for the food and views. Our last visit, we got in just after 6 other parties, but... More

We are new to Chattanooga and thought we'd try this restaurant for my husband's birthday since his favorite meal is catfish. The catfish we were served tasted like it had been sitting in grease for an hour. Rather than crispy, ours was so tough and leathery it was hard to cut with a knife. We saw other customer being served... More

This place is great. I bug my Mom to go every time I'm home and I'm 59 years old. You can't go wrong for catfish. If your in the area it's a "must try".

This Restaurant has new management. It does seem to be better. It has always been cold in there, bring a sweater with you. Family place, some seats you can see the river. They give you more then enough food. If you don't go early, you feel like your in a hurry to leave. They are constantly sweeping and running a... More

Food was decent although the fish was a little mushy but the service SUCKED !!! The waitresses seem to spend most of their time sitting around the front room reading the paper and totally ignoring the customers. I waited almost 20 minutes for my waitress to come take my credit card, finally gave up and left some cash on the... More

This place was located just inside the Marion County line next to the Tennessee River deep in the gorge. The sign just inside the door said 'Please Seat Yourself' which did not seem very attentive considering I walked in to 6 workers sitting/reading/watching tv. My group was only the second seated in the joint which for dinner at 5:30 on... More

We were going to Lookout Mountain and went searching for the Lookout Winery and passed this restaurant on the way. When we got to the winery it looked old and rundown and trashy so we turned around to try our luck at Riverside Catfish House. I'm so glad we stumbled on this place by accident! It sits overlooking the Tennessee... More

Was there Sunday had the catfish filets, great cole slaw and hush puppies. The cat fish filets were perfect loved the slaw and what a great view of the Tennessee River. Can't wait to go back.
