Probably the best fried chicken I’ve ever had that wasn’t made in my mommas kitchen. The tea and the lemonade left a bit to be desired but the potato salad and baked beans more than made up for it!

If you are wanting good fried chicken then Champys is the place to go. Its no frills but fun place to eat with good, friendly service. You can sit on the outside/enclosed patio and watch a game or dine inside. Tamales are also delicious.

Had lunch and couldn't find a thing to complain about. The tamales are very good and could have eaten a dozen of those. The two piece chicken plate was excellent and they have some awesome baked beans. I will keep coming back.
Had the three-piece fried chicken and fries/slaw with a craft draft beer. My wife had the same with a domestic beer. If you order the chicken, may as well request a go-box up front. They give you so much food, and it is so delicious,...More
