We were here on a Saturday at 6:15 PM. We were asked to wait for 30 minutes. Service was swift on seating. Every item we ordered including vegetable pasta was excellent. Gumbo was amongst the best. Experience was surprisingly good.

What a jewel! Super staff! Chatting with the owner was a pleasure! We ordered an amazing platter for 3-4 people called the Big Easy. Huge shrimp and oysters! Perfect catfish and the gumbo is addictive! Topped off our meal with our first beignets....yum!

My wife and I drove from Cleveland to try this place out tonight and we are so glad we did. I love a good gumbo but it's so hard to find one done right unless you are in Nola. The place was packed and we did end up waiting for about and hour. It was well worth the wait. My... More

This is a well-kept establishment with about 15 tables. Our food, including some po-boys and etouffee, was on par with your typical family restaurant in smaller Louisiana towns and big town suburbs. The ingredients were good quality, the bread was good, and the chef seems to have paid attention to putting things together well. The prices were a little on... More

Absolutely LOVED the food, people, service, lights, everything! As not only a food, but specifically "seafood" connoisseur and critic, I would definitely recommend this establishment to any and everyone visiting Chattanooga.

We had a group of 9 with no reservation. The owner was very accommodating and was able to seat us. We received excellent service. I had the Shrimp Creole and it was the best I have have had. I also had the crawfish fitters for my appetizer. They were excellent. I travel frequently to New Orleans and the food and... More

My wife and I have mentioned trying this restaurant for some time now and finally did a few weeks ago when we were in Chattanooga for a music show at Track 29. I'm so glad we did. I had the gumbo and it was excellent. I'm always searching for the best gumbo and I do believe that I found it... More

Hubby & I were there for a vacation/anniversary stop over in Oct. Owners were very friendly. The owner Mike, treated us like VIPS ( he didn't know it was our anniversary). He made our food to our spice level ( since Im a spice baby LOL). THe food was amazing and cooked to order. He was so nice and his... More

I'm from Lousiana and know cajun food. This is not it. Overpriced, the owners wife is horribly rude, service is slow and food came out cold. Won't be back. Ever.

The food was excellent. The service was great. The gumbo was just like what I have had in New Orleans. The menu has so many choices it was hard to pick. I did have a cocktail which was ok so I would skip the cocktail and have something else to drink.
