OK, this wasn't our plan A but the restaurant we had chosen closed an hour early. So we decided to follow the billboards we always see and check out Firehouse. It was fun. Beer was very good, as was the South Dakota win. We chose a caesar salad, which was wonderful, and the ribs. Fantastic ribs and wonderful with the... More

Food was awful! We had a salad, which we sent back for being soggy, and a pork tenderloin that was dry and burned on the edges. French fries were cold and limp! Traded salad for a pizza, which was under cooked. The wait staff was mostly what appeared to be high school age kids, and we were seated on the... More

I had seen the signs on the interstate about 50 miles out, and a number of fire trucks to get your attention. I love a good set of ribs, and they did not let me down, best ribs I've had in a long time, had about every kind of beer. Will definitely stop there again

Nice building. An old fire station turned into a brewpub. Service was friendly but unfortunately the beers were very average at best. 9 beers on tap and a flight of 9 beers available. Wifi was working. I didn’t eat

Right in the heart of the city within walking distance from Alex Johnson Hotel.. Food was very good, prices were reasonable. Staff was friendly and on top of things... I ordered a mix drink which didn't care for the taste, waiter was so nice and offered me another drink.. They have the best Pina coladas... We enjoyed this restaurant so... More

Lively, fun, family oriented restaurant/brew pub. This one has good food with plenty of delicious choices, including a kids'menu. Fast service, reasonable prices.

The food here is definitely above average and they have great brews on tap. There is an entertainment theater upstairs , comedians, drama productions etc. it's all part of a pretty good downtown scene for a town this size.

They were out of the beer we wanted but that was fine. When we were ready to order my wife likes me to go first but the waitress interrupted me and said ladies first as if I was being a jerk. I ordered the gumbo and my wife got the pork tacos. My gumbo was only warm when I got... More

A few coworkers and I stopped by after a conference. We liked the local decor and historic influences of the place, however the food was lackluster. The staff barely knew what was on their menu or the tap list. The bloody mary was probably the worst one I have ever had, beside airport bloody marys. The decor is neat and... More

I ate here with my family for lunch. The old firehouse and fire fighters equipment was something to see. You can even see the beer vats. The food was great. I did not check out the beer, I do not the stuff. They only sell beer in the bar/restraunt or in growlers. Soon they will be selling prepackage beers.

"The Firehouse," as it is called by locals, is one of the city's most unique and interesting landmarks. -Housed within the original Rapid City firehouse, a structure built of four layer brick in 1915, the building is listed on the National Historic Register. We offer a full service restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor dining. Experience a vibrant atmosphere with live entertainment by local musicians in addition to live theatre most Friday and Saturday evenings (view our website for a list of upcoming events). Of course, the Main attraction at the Firehouse is our uniquely flavored, hand crafted beers along with a menu of the Midwest's favorite dishes. With culinary selections ranging from salads and BBQ to buffalo and gumbo, there is something for everyone at the Firehouse Brewing Company.
