Nothing special about this place. Just another shop for tourists to spend money. Decent food and drinks available.

This is a great place to eat on historic downtown Main Street. Today we enjoyed the grilled chicken salad and the marinated sirloin tips. There's a good selection of bottled beer to choose from. We sat in the covered, open air section of the complex....More

Four of us dined at the Buffalo Steakhouse in the mid afternoon during mid-week in the middle of August. We were seated immediately as there wasn't a large crowd during that time of the day. The restaurant had a nice open air feel to it...More

We were there in off-season, so getting a table for lunch was easy. On a nice day the wall was lifted for an open-air feeling. The menu is a varied but we tried for SD-type food which included walleye and buffalo. The meals were great....More

Buffalo Bodega is a large complex consisting of the restaurant, Stockade, bars and casino. The casino has a lot of older slots which is why I stop here. As soon as we started playing slots we were asked if we wanted drinks. Have a look...More

I am very disappointed to hear that this was your experience, I assure you this is not usual with our steaks! I hope you are willing to give us another try the next time you are in Deadwood.

This place... the Buffalo Steakhouse Saloon is the worst. Big, cold, poor servers, and the food is WAY overpriced... and terrible. I ordered walleye bites... for $19.00. I live in Minnesota, and let me tell ya that those pieces of fish were just awful. TERRIBLE.......More

We were having difficulty finding a restaurant in downtown Deadwood that served anything resembling healthy food. Menus boast beer, burgers, fries, meat, fried food. Buffalo Bodega had a sign out front advertising a lunch special that included a turkey sandwich and soup for $7. We...More

We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your lunch! And I assure you our soups are homemade! We pride ourselves on our delicious homemade soups and we do apologize for the confusion!

Nice interesting place that during "bike rally" could be a bit on the wild side. has indoor seating as well as outdoor plus an outdoor baloney that you have to be over 21 to enter. food was good as was the service.
