I’ve been here a couple of times and it is average at best. The food and service are OK while the prices are a little high. Would recommend going further into the Myrtle Beach area for Mexican.

This place was quite good. The strip mall was drastically renovated. Assuming the rents went up higher, LaPlaya folded, to the regret of locals and visitors.
We enjoyed this restaurant but they closed. January. The food and wait were wonderful. We are hoping they might open they might open some where in the area.

At this place you feel right at home. you get a very warm welcome when you enter. super friendly service and quick aswell. very big selection of food. and most important the food tastes great.
