What a place! Great restaurant with so many different items on the menu! I love the fish and chips and the award winning chili! Plenty of friendly staff and even a pool table to try your skill. They have gazillions of tv’s in all areas...Outside seating has a number of tables that move like a rocking chair which is pretty cool. They have two locations at the beach so try one soon!More
Oh my God. We are from New Jersey we were a little tired of sea food. We searched the booklet that we get in the hotel, I am telling you that if you are visiting Myrtle Beach, you have to come to Dagwoods Deli the...sandwich we had was Italian hot and my husband had his cold. You will be so full, this place will not disappoint you on the food. The grill was not working, that didn’t make a difference, everything was super delicious. I recommend coming here. We also had a drink and that was also very good. The waitress was excellent as well, very personable and attentive. So don’t go any else until you try Dagwoods Deli. Ask for Tammy she needs to get a raise. Wonderful eatery. Bi wish we had this in New Jersey.😎More
Again found this gem on Tripadvisor. THOROUGHLY ENJOYED the experience. You walk in and turn right to look at the menu. Take your time the menu is extensive. Then you walk down the aisle and place your order at the counter, and pay for it....Then you go find a place to sit, this is the hardest part cause this place is popular so it gets crowded. When your order is ready they call your name and deliver it to your table. You self serve your sodas. They have table, booth and high top seating. When your done you bus your table. I had the Cuban Sammich ... it was delicious and came with your choice of side (I think it was pasta salad, chips and something else. They also put a cookie on your plate, nice little touch. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is a little jewel in the Grand Strand! BTW this is also the location of Bumsteads Pub.More
Had a great lunch at this place. The wings was fantastic, the phili was good, great onion rings and fries. Our friends had the club sandwich, and the stated it was great. They have a great selection of local bears, and the waitress was excellent....She was helpful, attentive and knew her job. Very pleasant place for a very good meal!More

I had a taste for a philly steak sandwich so we tried it last year. Dagwood's Deli is AMAZING! My wife doesn't like subs, but she was thrilled. I got the philly steak and she got the French dip (beef) sub. They were huge and...TONS of meat. This was not the cheap stuff you get at other sub shops. it comes with a side of potato salad, Cole slaw, fries or chips. The prices are so low they are amazing! We went back this year (October). Everything you get there is great! It's a secret - you need to try it. It's 2 or 3 blocks up from the SkyWheel. You can park behind the restaurant and walk to the Skywheel after you eat. I HIGHLY recommend this. Spend all your money at a pricey seafood restaurant and come to Dagwood's the next day and save a bundle. You will love it - they have something for everyone. The food was amazing. We were there for happy hour and got their fried mushrooms and cheese sticks. They didn’t skimp on the portions just because it was happy hour. The sandwiches are all very good. We had the prime rib Philly, the Italian, the...Philly, and two kid’s burgers. They accommodated my child’s egg allergy without a problem. We will certainly come back. Nicole (from New York) was our server and was amazing. She gave great suggestions and was very helpful.More
The food, service, and atmosphere are good! The rye they use for the Rueben sandwiches is not very good. It didn't have much flavor or a good solid texture. The meats and sauces were good. Dagwood's charges an extra 4% if you use a credit...card. Also, when you pay cash, they just give you the bills back not the change. Not good. We didn't want make a fuss about it, but that is just wrong. In addition, we were surprised there was an upcharge ($2.29) for regular French fries. French fries are usually considered a standard side, not one with an upcharge.More
We stopped in for a late lunch upon the recommendation of friends. I’m not sure why they thought this place was special enough to suggest it to us. It’s very dark and noisy. Our waiter had zero personality. Our simple order of two cheeseburgers arrived...with no cheese. The waiter offered to bring a slice of cheese to the table… The food was just ok. Our lunch visit gave us no reason to return again in the future.More
I can't believe that we paid almost $26 for TERRIBLE food! My sandwich was overloaded with mayonnaise to the point that it was falling apart. Then they insulted it further by adding so much shredded lettuce that I gave up. I ordered roast beef--instead it's...some sort of fake roast beef that they're passing off as being the real thing: two or three slices folded up to appear to be a lot of meat, but when you take the sandwich apart, there's hardly anything there. Bag of chips or some sort of foreign "salad" in a small cup was the "side" choice. Other person's sandwich was on a roll that was 2/3 bread and also two or three slices of some sort of "roast beef," which appeared to be that fake roast beef that is supposed to resemble the real thing--and isn't, and folded up to appear as a large sandwich. Salad was very strange--and tasted that way, too. Everything was basically thrown out and we left there hungry. I can't believe that this place is so popular with high ratings...what are the patrons thinking? WILL NEVER GO BACK... WASTE OF MONEY!More
If you are looking an authentic sub, this is the place!! I had the turkey and roast beef and it did not disappoint. Also the homemade potato salad is delicious. Great vibe! Big screen TVs, and wonderful fresh food!!
My husband & myself went here for the 1st time today for lunch . He received a little gift card & we used it today ! The menu has so many choices . What a great place for lunch!!! I ordered the shrimp philly- with peppers, onions, and cheese. Just mouthwatering!!! There is a vast menu from which to choose the perfect sandwich... aromas are wonderful!!! Convenient parking across the street!!! Try it!!!
Delicious! Had a hard time deciding there are so many options. I had the Cuban-yum! My husband’s Northern was amazing as well. Fresh, yummy bread, delicious flavors. Try it!
