Our first visit here in many years. Overall a very good experience. Visited on a Tuesday evening and the place was almost full, but we were seated almost immediately even without a reservation. We began with some Bruschetta and soup which are included with each meal. Both were very good. Then fresh baked rolls with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. The rolls were the only disappointment of the entire meal due to the fact that they were under baked, although they tasted fine. If the rolls had been fully baked with a nice brown crust we would have given this place 5 stars. Both of our meals were very good, the Lasagna and the Fettuccine Alfredo w/chicken, although the chicken on the Fettuccine were just very thin slices and added little to the taste of the dish. Next time we would just get the plain Fettuccine Alfredo without the chicken. The Fettuccine noodles were cooked perfect and were the wider style which we both prefer. And the food was served hot, not luke warm like in some places. Portions were very generous and we felt that our meals were a good value. Service was also very good. We will return

We enjoyed an absolutely wonderful evening of Italian food and entertainment. Our waitress, Janine, was extremely helpful with food selection and service plus was one of the friendliest servers we have had! Even the accordion player, Mike, who has worked there for over 40 years ensured a fun filled time. Our two 7 year old grandsons loved all the special attention and funny tricks he showed them. The food here is always top quality and tonight's was no different. Delicious soup, salad, and entrees were had by all with even the grandsons eating all their delicious homemade spaghetti. We are already talking about coming back again!!

We were stranded in Myrtle Beach due to the IT outage and then our TV went out and the maintenance man at the hotel suggested this particular restaurant. We went and we were so pleasantly surprised it was probably the best food we have had in years. the service was great the server whose name is Ryne was helpful with our choices, offered us to have a taste of wine to make sure we liked it, explained the entire four courses of the meals and kept checking to make sure we liked everything. The servings are huge the courses are fabulous we even came home with leftovers that Ryne made sure we had plastic silverware for the hotel... this is a must go to restaurant whether you're stranded in Myrtle Beach or live here or just passing through!

We had a group of 22 and made a reservation a day earlier. They sat us at two different set ups near each other. The food was decent. Everyone gets a cup of their soup which was delicious and a side salad which was average. Bruschetta was also served and was tasty. My wife loved her Veal Cotolette, my Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken was ok. A friend at our table really liked his Shrimp D’oro however, his wife was very disappointed with the Lasana. For some reason they put ham and boiled eggs on top of it. All in all, the food was decent. We did feel rushed through out the whole process. The big issue is with an accordion player they have roaming through the dining room working for tips. He engaged our group and played a few songs and joked around with us as most of us gave him $5 bills to play a song. My wife asked if he could play a Dan Fogelburg song and he went on a rant about how he hates Dan Fogelburg and his music is horrible. My wife was embarrassed in front of our friends. It ruined our experience and we won’t be back.

Best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at. Servers were spot on - fast, efficient, friendly and informative . The owner stopped at every table to talk to the customer and he was just the sweetest man ever, telling us about the business and how he has kept the food the same since he started the restaurant, using his ' family recipes ' . You could tell how proud he was. Prices were very reasonable and you could not walk away hungry. Everyone was so very nice. The doors opened at 4:30 ( Sunday ) and before 5:00 the restaurant was completely full and more waiting for tables at the door. An all around perfect dining experience !!!

This was our first visit, and were we in for a treat! Quaint interior, with the most wonderful, professional wait staff. Our entrees each came with multiple courses: soup, salad & delicious pastas & chicken (for us!) The bread was yummy, too! It was a very calm, not rushed dinner & I came away thinking : these people Really know how to run a restaurant, too to bottom, ambiance, staff & most of all, delicious food! We’ll be back!

Found this restaurant on Trip advisor and decided to try it out. The food was authentic, the staff was polite. The was AMAZING! Rely enjoyed the accordian playing was very quaint. The staff just finished with a large part of 53 and the wait time was only about 20 min. The parking is very limited but waiting for a spot to open up is well worth the circling! Our waitress Janine was very informative of the food and ingredients. Very personable. Hope she remembers her couple from Ohio!! Thanks for your service!! Will recommend to others and come back too

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, table cloths, clean and good service. The food was about average, nothing amazing but good, however a little overpriced. It's more American Italian than authentic Italian. In Italy, pasta is served as an appetizer, here it's a main course, they also give you a side of pasta with your main dishes. Very strange to be served veal in a cream mushroom sauce with a side of pasta with tomato sauce. The dish would have been so much better served with maybe small potatoes and veggies.

The food was incredible. My husband got the Chicken Florianto and was in love. He practically licked his plate. I got the chicken ripieno and loved the chicken with ham, cheese, and white wine sauce. Meal included bruschetta, soup, salad and rolls for an incredibly reasonable price. We ate there two times this week and will definitely put it on our list next time we visit the area.

Don’t often eat out Italian. Have an great Italian cook at home. We went to Villa with the chef’s cousin Uncle Frankie. This place blew away my expectations. From the cold appetizer plater, piping hot bread, homemade meatballs to the stuffed flounder and the pork osso buco. Everything was outstanding. Michael on the accordion is very entertaining and a favorite with the ladies. Awesome food awesome atmosphere. Highly recommend this place. Will make it a regular stop every time I’m in Myrtle .

This place was excellent! Went with my family of 6 and the prices were reasonable and food was service was great. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious- fettuccine Alfredo was amazing. You don’t need an appetizer- they bring out bruschetta, fresh rolls, soup and salad before you get your meal. We highly recommend this place!

Just returned from an early Valentines dinner with the hubby. Last year we went to Lombardis for dinner and we wanted to try something else this year. Although Lombardis was very good, Villa Romana impressed! Micheal was our server and he was very good. Many reviews posted previously made mention of the vast quantity of food that was served but we found that the amount served was just right - not too small and not too much. You are served complimentary bruschetta, fresh rolls and marinara sauce, cup of soup and a tasty salad. My husband claims his chicken parm was the best he's had, I chose the Veal Absolut (but substituted chicken for the veal). It was amazing! The prices are reasonable and the service was great! The ambiance is lovely and there is a very good accordion player that plays during dinner. The only thing we would prefer is that he wouldn't personally approach our table. We like to have our dinner with our own personal conversation but that's just us. We will definitely return next month when my sister and her husband come visit.

Villa Romana is always our Sunday dinner on our vacation week. We visited on July 30,2023 and was impressed as always by the service. The pre meal offerings were fresh and delicious as always. Dinner though, was spectacular! We ordered 2 of the Sunday specials, the pork osso bucco which we were glad to see returned and was succulent as always, and the Veal Cesar which was fried to perfection and the covered in a delicious Absoult cream sauce, lump crab and asparagus, we also ordered the Canneloni Fiorentina which was lovely as well. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

This may have been our best Italian restaurant experience ever. The atmosphere is perfect, classic and peaceful. We were treated fantastic by Jeff including places to go see in the area! They start you with a bruschetta, followed by soup and rolls, then a salad before the entree. Ravioli and eggplant parmesan were perfect. Thank you :)
