Dined here on a friday night 630pm. place has 2 floor with second floor offering both dining under the stars and an open air (covered) section. bars on both levels. outdoor area upstairs has outdoor lounge seating available. we sat at indoor bar. Service as excellent. they have some happy hour options 4-7. House merlot $4HH, $6 regular. $4 domestic beers. Bacardi/coke regular price $8. Corona light $4.75.
we had the Tuna tataki appetizer $14, 5 pieces. was good.
then we had Combo Hibachi with chicken and steak, with fried rice. $27. also got a side order of Lo mein $6 and side of crab rangoon $12. all tasted good. being from the north the soy sauce on the grand strand we have found to be not strong enough. just personal preference.
place is 2 blocks from MBeach. across from Hot tomato, dirty don's, river city cafe.
would give 3 1/2* if TA allowed it. will return.

I visited on a Friday around 5:30. It was very quiet. My server was pleasant and answered questions. Speed of service was excellent. I was planning on happy hour foods, but changed my mind and went with the Pad Thai with steak and chicken. The flavor was nice, spicy but not overboard. It lacked visual interest / it would be nice if they used red peppers instead of green. It also needed something - I asked for limes and extra cilantro and that made it better. The chicken was very good , however the steak was chewy and needed something (marinade or seasoning). I had the salad and the house made ginger dressing was excellent. They do add the 20% on automatically / there is a sign on the door announcing this charge. The price is a bit high, but overall good food and service.

3 of 4 meals came out at same time. One of these was ribs and they tasted good but were under room temperature. The fourth plate New England Mussels came out 10-15 min later. They were fishy, under seasoned and overcooked. The worst mussels I have ever had. The average review is only due to the fact that the lamb chops and the spicy orang chicken was very good. The service was mediocre and there is a mandatory 20% tip added before you receive the bill. Overall 2 people were happy, one was less than satisfied and the fourth spit out the mussels.

I can’t recommend Soho for anyone trying to stay gluten free. Our first evening in Myrtle Beach and we opted for takeout from the Soho Steak Seafood and Sushi Bar.
They do have a gluten free menu and a decent amount of options. The staff was friendly and I watched them input our order - noting that they marked GF for all meals. Good start.
The problem arose when we returned to our hotel and started digging into our meals. First we found that they had not included our Miso soup (I’ll take partial blame for not checking the order before leaving the restaurant). My wife’s grilled seafood plate was actually fried and was coated in what I believe was flour and my chicken skewers were over dried and over salted.
To end on a positive, the California rolls and seaweed salad were very good. If you are trying to avoid gluten for health reasons you will need to take care when eating at Soho.
We probably would have been much happier if we had stuck to sushi.

Very busy restaurant, nice staff, and the food came out super fast. I was not impressed by the quality of the food. My sushi rice was bland and my steak tasted like it was on its last day. I was really hoping for more fresh, authentic flavors and aesthetically eye catching sushi plating.

We sat up on the roof and it was great! The service was amazing! Our server was very personable and upfront in the fact that drinks may take a minute and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and explained what things tasted like. The food was really good. We really had no complaints about it and it was a little on the pricey side but we did know that when we went there. Food came out fairly fast and tasted really good. I would definitely recommend it

Very friendly staff and the food came out very quickly. Food was excellent. Our waiter Paul was very attentive to our every needs and was a very polite and knowledgeable person. Hats off to Paul. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a great experience. We will return to this establishment upon our next visit to Myrtle Beach.

We are completely disappointed. We had trouble finding any place to eat that did not have a 1.5 hour wait. And this was on a Tuesday night. We called them and they said that we would be able to get a table of four without any issues and we were only 2 miles down the road. When we showed up the girl at the hostess desk told us it would be a one hour wait for me and my three kids to have a seat. I explain to her that we called somebody and they said there would be no wait and that we could have a table right away she was very rude and said well I don’t know who you spoke to but you will have to wait 45 minutes to an hour to get a table. So I asked several times if they could find out who answered the phone so that I could have a conversation with that person and maybe they could admit that they made a mistake and they could get us seated because they told us there was no weight. The young girl at the hostess desk did not seem to care at all that I was with my children trying to get a place to eat she actually laughed when I said I want to make a complaint. These young girls took it as a complete joke and had absolutely no respect. We walked out and then it up finding another place to eat. It’s a shame because I was there in 2018 and it was a really good restaurant And I gave it an extremely good review. I can’t honestly in good conscience give it a good review now these young kids they hired to work have absolutely no concept of customer relations or any type of respect skip it and go to a place where they actually take care of their customers

While on vacation we ate here because it was 1 block from our hotel. The food was very good and the service was good. We ate there around 8 or 9pm on a Monday night and had to wait maybe 20 minutes for a table. Our waitress Althea was very good and was very nice to my 9 year old daughter.

We went to Soho because my sons wanted sushi, but the advertising we saw showed a variety of cusine, including steak and Italian. After being seated, our server (Lauren) explained that the resturant had just changed the menu to mostly oriental, which was dissapointing to some of us. Despite that, we ordered dinners. The dinners came out piecemeal, with a plate of food here and there over a 20 minute period. The last thing to come out was a $90 sushi boat, which 2 people split between them. Yes, the sushi boat is actually served in a small wooden boat. The biggest issue was that half of our party was finished eating before the other half got their meals. Not sure why the timing couldn't be better.

There are 3 SoHo restaurants in Myrtle, this was the one in North Myrtle on Main Street. It was great in every way. They have an extensive menu, besides sushi. Our group had an excellent filet mignon, Mongolian beef, a big meal worthy salad, and a volcano sushi roll. We ordered cocktails, hot sake, beer. The service was excellent and quick. The place was very clean and modern. The staff came by frequently and the owner was very friendly. I loved the big screens with aerial tours over mountains, islands, other scenic areas, with no sports or loud music. A relaxing and sophisticated place. We could hear our conversation without screaming!
It's a couple blocks to the beach and Spanish Galleon, not up on the Kings Hwy. We look forward to going again next trip!

We’ve been going to Soho 2-3 times a year for the past 5-6 years. They have lost a loyal customer. My teenage kids love this place but we will no longer go there on our beach trips.
We have always enjoyed sitting on the roof top for our meals. It’s one of the things that makes this restaurant special, along with their sushi and hibachi. We called en route to the restaurant and were told they did not have a wait on the roof for a party of 7. When we arrived 15 minutes later and I, along with 2 teenage daughters, checked in with the hostess we were told there would be a 45 minute wait for the roof but could be seated immediately downstairs. I told the hostess we would wait to be seated on the roof. The hostess was not friendly, but was not rude at that time. The adults went to the bar for drinks while waiting. The hostess approached us at the bar about 20 minutes later, and very rudely stated that we would have to sit downstairs. When we asked why, she said that we couldn’t sit upstairs with teenagers after 7 pm. We inquired as to the reasoning behind that she she rudely told us that was the rule and we would have to follow it. We had checked in at the hostess stand at 7:20, and she made no effort to tell us that at the time. She made us wait 20 minutes and then told us. We asked for a manager who was just a rude as the hostess about the issue. We were here less than a year ago with another family and ate on the roof at 9 pm. What has happened? I don’t understand why teenagers can’t eat dinner on the roof. What exactly is going on in a restaurant at 7:30 pm that isn’t appropriate for teenagers.
We just ate our last $300 meal at Soho. The general manager needs to reconsider this outlandish policy and hire a hostess who has some manners and personality.

Always enjoyed eating at Soho in the past, but to add a mandatory 20% tip and then provide another line for an additional tip was disturbing. We always tip well if service is good but that additional tip line really annoyed me. the sushi rolls were really good but sizes have definitely become smaller. Drinks were good. Nice atmosphere but could be claustrophobic for some as tables are very close.

We had lunch at SOHO and it was amazing. I love Sushi and they have a wide variety. We were able to order separate items for the picky eaters and meals. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Nice place and they have a roof top dining area that is awesome.

Great location near several good restaurants and a block from the beach. Big venue with relatively modern seating. Went for lunch and had lots of options for sushi and others. I got the sushi/sashimi combo which was excellent and my son got the filet bento box which he said was fantastic. Lots of food with the order. Was very expensive; a typical sushi/sashimi combo is $30-$40, but was over $50 for the same amount of food. And not lunch specials like some places offer for sushi. Overall it was very good and highly recommend!
