I visited on a Friday around 5:30. It was very quiet. My server was pleasant and answered questions. Speed of service was excellent. I was planning on happy hour foods, but changed my mind and went with the Pad Thai with steak and chicken. The...flavor was nice, spicy but not overboard. It lacked visual interest / it would be nice if they used red peppers instead of green. It also needed something - I asked for limes and extra cilantro and that made it better. The chicken was very good , however the steak was chewy and needed something (marinade or seasoning). I had the salad and the house made ginger dressing was excellent. They do add the 20% on automatically / there is a sign on the door announcing this charge. The price is a bit high, but overall good food and service.More

I've visited Soho a couple of times in the last 5 years.! It's located close to one of our go-to hotels in Myrtle beach. The place offers nice nightclub vibes but not so much “bring your family restaurant”. Still, the food is good and doesn't...disappoint. I've tried their meat, fish, and sushi. The Sushi is great and they also have nice baby back ribs. What I struggle with: 1. Unfiltered tap water. Taste like pool water and can't understand why they don't filter their water. It makes such a difference in the overall experience! 2. They always add 20% tip on the bill. Even if you are two people that are eating or just drinking! Not sure if this is legal! I personally like to tip 25% or more if the food is great and minimum 15% if it's terrible. But please don’t include your own tip in advance. It's up to the customer to decide if the experience is good or not!More

I really Monty know what to say. I have been to very few restaurants that have had such incredibly slow bar ten tender service. It was amazing. 10 minutes before he responded. Never been to a bar where the bartentender never even looks at you....terrible.More

We went to a conference in Myrtle Beach, and lunches and dinners were not provided, so we walked a short distance from the hotel and found SOHO. We sat outside and people watched while waiting for our food. The service was excellent, our drinks never...emptied, the food was abundant and delicious. We even received a free photo of our group. The tuna Tartare was fresh and delicious. I'm from Florida, so am picky about fresh fish. There was so much food left over, the shrimp and chicken pad thai was even better the next day as lunch for two. We went back to the conference the next day and told a few people about it. They went that night along with a big group and had nothing but good things to say about SOHO Sushi.More

Everything about this place doesn’t live up to its ratings. Poor service. Had to ask for place settings and Cho sticks after appetizer was delivered. Waitress didn’t notice. Many of their wines not available. Bang bang shrimp, which were recommended, were small and not very...tasty. Asian noodle soup was tasteless. Tuna tartare tower was just ok. Pad Thai was unremarkable. No one in the place seemed to care about what was going on. It was insulting that 20%tip was included on the check.More

We ended up at Soho because of the line up at the restaurant we had planned for dinner. Glad we changed. The server was really helpful and the sushi fresh and absolutely delicious. Prices were reasonable.

Sunday night in September. I say this because maybe it matters what day of the week you go to this restaurant. My sushi roll was awful. Tasted worse than a grocery store roll. I should have known when the roll came to the table In...less than 3 min. No way someone was in the kitchen making these rolls. They did take it off my bill and the waitress was very nice. We sat up on the roof and it was great! The service was amazing! Our server was very personable and upfront in the fact that drinks may take a minute and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and explained what things tasted like. Once you walk in there is a slight fishy smell. Ambiance was rather nice topped with live music in the back. First time I ever saw tahini platter in a fish/ sushi restaurant. To my surprise the tahini was pretty good but for that price...I should have gotten 2 pitas. The sushi was soso! I had much better sushi at the Grumpy Monk ! Soho Steakhouse and Sushi South on 21st Ave in Myrtle Beach is awesome! Husband enjoyed Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna, he said he loved it, that is huge from a man who inspects a piece of sushi inside out before eating. Son had Thai Chicken strips,...he said best chicken tenders he ever ate, I had to tell him not to compare this to plain chicken fast food. I had Hibaci filet, medium well, so tender, so good, and huge serving. Service was fast, food came fast, atmosphere is perfect, husband said it really felt 5 star. And our man was Jacob, very professional, very accommodating. We will come back again.More

After trying to get into several restaurants who stopped seating early, and an attempt at another local restaurant, we were excited to find Soho. We were seated immediately. Food was delicious and our waiter was on point! We ordered a house salad, bang-bang shrimp, coconut...shrimp, Thai chicken strips, and French fries. We all three rate this 5/5.More
