We came to celebrate our 1st Thanksgiving in Myrtle Beach. I had heard only good things about The Library. We were not disappointed. The Library is a warm and cozy place. We had the Thanksgiving Dinner. It was the best I ever had. All of the foods on the plate complimented the Turkey and each one was better and more... More

I can't believe The Library is still there. It opened in 1974, and I remember my parents going there in 1976. They raved about it. I finally got to this restaurant in 2016 and had mushrooms baked with gruyere cheese as an appetizer which was delicious. On to the Caesar salad which is one of my favorites and it didn't... More

Very hard to put into words our excellent dinner. It is expensive, but worth it. Chris took great care of us. The atmosphere was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely eat here on our return trip to the area.

Squeezed in on an unremarkable strip along Rte 17 just south of the 1st Presbyterian Church, this is a fine dining escape from burgers and chicken in Myrtle. Saturday evening dinner with a friend included a bitingly delicious Caesar salad prepared table side and breast of duck aux cerises. The sauce was "eat by the spoonful" delicious, and the duck... Library Restaurant offers true fine dining in Myrtle Beach. Attention to detail and well hersed, knowledgeable staff makes this much more than an eatery. Though pricey, it makes for memorable experience. Worth celebrating lifetime moments. Have celebrated birthdays, anniversary and even had post wake celebration of life meal in a private dining room. Unless dining as an early bird, don't... More

The Library is a must if you are in the Myrtle Beach area. The food is wonderful and the service is outstanding. Joshua was our professional waiter and masterfully guided us through our food experience. We met the executive chef, Brian, who has an outstanding menu. The owner is a very knowledgable chef and provided an intimate atmosphere, we felt... More

A nice older established restaurant. Service including table side preparation of several items was excellent, but food was good, but not excellent. Nice quiet place for a romantic, special occasion dinnet.

Had a hard time getting a reservation - when we got there were plenty of tables available. I asked why - the answer - they only allow a certain number of guests because they do not want to over tax the kitchen so as not to reduce the quality of the food they serve. The food was great 9Salmon for... More
