This was our first visit to the restaurant chain. The menu is extensive and there are daily specials. We stopped for lunch. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with plenty of golf memorabilia, as you would expect. It has a country club "feel" but is very well priced with something on the menu for everyone. We had sandwiches and soup/salad.... More

Having had a less-than-desirable experience at Sam Snead’s a month ago, the manager, Marco contacted us. He explained what had happened, apologized, pledged to take corrective action, and invited us back. We took him up on his offer and were glad we did. We had a completely different and improved dining experience this round. Our service and food were excellent.... More

1. Waiter had a 'smoke' odor but was ok. 2. Wife's stuffed shrimp were somewhat small - especially for $22.95. 3. My salmon was very good and decent proportion. 4. Drinks were reasonable @ $4.50 for 16 oz. Blue Moon & $5.50 for wine.

I was a little wary visiting here after some previous reviews but my husband really wanted to visit because of the golf theme. No need to have worried as everything was great! The food was hot, perfectly cooked as described on the menu, the service was polite, friendly, prompt and professional (thank you Josh) The pricing was compararable to most... More

Our waitress was very nice and the bartender made a good sidecar but...my steak was suppose to be medium rare and it was just waived over the fire. when I asked for it to be done a bit more...it was waived again. At least it was warm this time.I couldn't eat it, it was RED not pink. It seemed to... More

Sam Snead's takes our guest comments, whether good or bad, very seriously. Im sorry about your experience, however upon investigation of your review, when your steak was brought back out to you, and the manager on duty and your server checked on you to make sure it was correctly brought up to your temperature of liking, you let them both... This was my second time eating here. First experience was for lunch and was quite good. Thought I would get some dinner take out and give dinner a try. I had looked at the menu online a few times and wanted to try the slow roasted pork tenderloin. The menu description was fork tender. Sadly not the case. Had to... More

I'm sorry about your bad experience regarding your to-go order. Unfortunately, our pork loin doesn't seem to travel well, and tends to toughen up when it spends some time in a hot to-go box. However, there is no excuse for the undercooked au gratin potatoes nor the gristly steak that was on your salad. We use a lean 6 ounce... More

We stopped in on our way back to the hotel after playing Wild Wing and there was no one in the restaurant at 5 PM. Within 30 minutes, it was nearly full. The Par 3 is about $21 and includes a choice of appetizers or dessert, a choice of second course - excellent soups or salads - and a choice... More

Went for early dinner after a round of golf and enjoyed the early bird menu available from 4 to 6 PM. There are several choices for appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts all for $20.95 per person. We had bruschetta, crab balls, french onion soup and half rack of ribs. All I can say is that everything served was perfect, cooked... More

Description
If you live and breathe the game of golf, you’re bound to hunger for more than a few birdies. At Sam Snead’s Oak Grill & Tavern, you can feast on your passion for the game, as well as great food. Come in and roam from room to room, savoring the rich wood décor and all the memorabilia collected by Sam himself as he made his way into golf history. Then choose from a wide selection of foods grilled only with locally-cured oak that creates our signature, unique flavor. Start with Sam’s appetizers; make your selection from Certified Angus Beef ® brand products, the freshest local seafood, chicken or fall-off-the-bone ribs smoked in-house. Complement all of this with a fine wine, a Slammin’ Sam lager or your favorite cocktail. For the lighter appetite, there’s a wide salad and sandwich selection to be enjoyed at Sam Snead’s Oak Grill & Tavern. Be sure to top your meal with one of our homemade desserts.
