Awesome food. Each day, same day of each week, the specials are always consistent. The outdoor market on the way in has amazing boiled peanuts.

This place reminds me of the Cracker Barrel if it wasn't corporate.. real southern charm and food and you can pick up some local food and other goodies while you are there.

This is a combination country cooking "meat and three" restaurant that also sells produce and garden plants. While I love meat and 3 places, this one is not consistent. One day the food is good and the next not so much.

Being from the North, I was completely uneducated as to how delicious Southern cooking really was. In the mid to late '70's I spent 4 years in Spartanburg, SC attending college. In less than 6 months I was a dyed in the wool Southern food groupie. One thing about the North is you just can't get good Southern foodage. Two... More

I saw this featured on triple d and it was on the way home from Charleston. It is small, family run and as close to real southern country cooking as I have had in a long time. If you are in a hurry, forget it. I assume it was a family member with an 11 month old son that was... More

The food here is great, the restaurant has such a great feel, makes you feel at home. I recommend the country fried steak, collared greens and of course some corn bread. Yum!

If you are looking for good food that doesn't cost an "arm and a leg", you need to go to the "Farmer's Shed" at 2514 Augusta Highway, Lexington, SC. Besides the restaurant there is a farm fresh produce market and nursery as well. After you park the car, you will wind through the flowers and shrubs, along a long porch... More

Always good home style southern meals dining in or carry out. Great value for the price so I don't mind the disposable dinnerware. My favorite is the shrimp and grits. We always bring out of town guests here for an authentic taste of SC.

We tried the Farmers Shed for lunch and enjoyed the food even though it is served on paper plates. I Had the pan fried chicken with Mac and cheese and greens, the wife had meat loaf with Mac and cheese and slaw. Food was good but a bit overpriced considering it was served on paper (meat +2 around 12 bucks... More

Pure Country, straight from the farms to the kitchen and in your belly baby! Yummyyy time!! Menu changes daily with your choice of meat and 2 veggies and a fresh biscuit or cornbread. Don't forget your big glass of sweet tea! Hard to pick a favorite day or favorite items--a few of mine are the skillet(and I do mean cast iron) fried chicken, cornbread salad, fried green maters, Jefferson chicken, turkey and dressing, shrimp and grits, fried pork chop, greens---man--hate they closed now! Looks like a big open air market with palnts and veggies, bbut the goodness is tucked inside. Varies on different cakes and pies from millionare's pie, to cocnut cake, to banana pudding to mandarine orange or pig picking cake. So divine! Walk in and waddle out folks! Fran Livingston
