We stopped with friends for a relaxing lunch on our day in the mountains and were happy we did. We had some great mushroom soup and our sandwiches were terrific. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was outstanding. All of us would highly recommend this stop.

We were headed north on I -26 around dinner time on Saturday and remembered a good place to eat in Landrum just a short distance from the interstate. We had visited Stone Soup on a culinary tour sponsored by Blue Ridge Community College last month. The restaurant is housed in a cute house with a porch set with tables and... More

1st time visit last night. Wonderful friendly atmosphere and attentive service. Eclectic wines. Portions were huge - too big for us with entrees. Prices are very fair. Recommend Heritage pork chop entree (please cook the sweet potatoes a little more!) and lobster dip app. Went for the music, but couldn't hear it. No microphone which is both good and bad.... More

We had just finished a hike with our dogs and were looking for lunch outside. Stone soup was a wonderful experience as they made extra efforts to get us seated in another outside area that was not set for patrons. My husband ordered a short rib sandwich with black bean and corn salad and I ordered the chicken BLT with... More

My daughter had heard of this place and took us there for breakfast. We all had something different and every item was perfect. Everyone needs to try this place as the food is phenomenal. I will definitely stop in again the next time I am in the area.

Charming table to farm in you for which I highly recommend the tuna appetizer as well as the fried artichoke hearts. The wind was has some of Bella Glos best choices from some of their best vineyards including Clark and Telephone and Meomi by the grass. Great experience

We order fried goat cheese salad with house-made champagne vinaigrette, classic chili infused with butternut squash cubes, half sandwich of smoked chicken BLT (T was a fried green tomato!) on toasted 7 grain bread. The dessert case was filled with luxurious desserts. They have pimento cheese, tomato pies, cookies, cakes, shepherd's pie and other delicacies for take out. Full bar,... More

Had a fantastic dinner with husband and friends. Waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. Trout was very good, and the dinner special (herb crusted tenderloin) was great too.

Little bit of a wait; "short staffed because staff had left early". Shrimp and grits were fabulous. Shepard's pie rivals my homemade. Beautiful little property and on a warmer day, it would have been lovely to sit outside. It took quite some time for our waitress to take our order and an even longer time for the meal to come... I love he quaint town of Landrum and a favorite part, usually what brings me to this little town is Stone Soup. It's small but the food is always well prepared and delicious. Homemade desserts are a big plus! They use local vendors for much of their food & beverages. Great job keeping it LOCAL. The pimento cheese & fried... More
