More like a big store behind a gas station. Essentials if you must. When I visited they only took cash. Food service offered fried food that had spent much to long in the oil. Better places nearby.

The prices are high but they stock supplies you might need while staying on island. They also have ready to go dinners, sandwiches, a grill, ice cream, wine and souvenirs.

The market is a collection of shops and restaurants at the junction of Kiawah and John Island. They have a nice grocery store that stocks everyday items.
