Stopped in for lunch. Raining cats and dogs outside, but warm and pleasant inside. They offer a fantastic lunch combo with a great house wine. The wait staff was very attentive and pleasant. Food delivered very quickly. Very tasty and extremely enjoyable.

This was our second visit. Larkin's just began opening early with a very small menu before 5pm. It was enough for a late lunch early dinner. We ordered the She crab soup which was delicious except for one bite was a spoonful of black pepper that apparently did not get stirred in! That was not what i was expecting but... More

Beautiful setting along the river. Have never had anything but memorable meal. The $30 prix fixed is always a bargain. Before a performance at the Peace Center or Sunday Brunch you will not be dissapointed

This is our go to restaurant for all of our special occasions. My husband and I come here for every birthday, anniversary and Valentine's Day. We love the steaks and of course the truffle fries!

Larkin's on the River is a classic example of Greenville's finest and most solid restaurants. The menu has a good selection but does not overwhelm. The service is prompt and the courses arrive with just the right amount of time in between to fully enjoy each. The wine selection is top notch. And once we chose a wine on the... More

We were a party of 4 on 5/17 and were seated in the middle of the dining room. Appetizers were Ceasar Salad & Fried Green Tomatoes. Dinner consisted of Osso Bucco, 16oz boneless NY Strip, 21oz Rib Eye, & 12oz Salmon Fillet. Sides consisted of Creamed Spinach (to die for) & Mushroom Mashed Potatoes. Everything was cooked to order &... More

When they're on, they're good and they're a good value. Unfortunately, it has been my experience that they're not on their game consistently enough and other steakhouse options like Halls, Rick Erwins, and Chophouse (Pelham Rd) seem to carry less of a risk of disappointment. For my dollar the other high-end steakhouses in the area are all a notch or... More

Three of us sat on the patio for an evening meal. My colleagues ordered the Filet and I ate the Tuna appetizer for my entrée. All were excellent. For appetizers we had the Oysters Rockefeller and Bacon wrapped Scallops. I would recommend both. In addition we had excellent asparagus as one side and scalloped potatoes for the other side. The... The appetizers were very good, but the entrees were uninspired. The shrimp and grits was too heavy, not the usual broth-like sauce, and the shrimp were a little tough.
