We loved this restaurant. The bar is nice and drinks are great. There is a different hand written menu every day. The food was totally amazing. We also had a cheese plate and Sauterne for dessert. We went to the bar the next night. It...More

Great food, greetings from the chef and complimentary valet parking made for a very special lunch! The salmon salad was quite tasty and don't forget to try the creme brulee! Always a crowd, so plan ahead. Very popular place.

It is one of the top restaurants in the area. Hard to get a table but that only speaks for its excellence.

The Chef is a master of food art and the bartenders are great. Menu changes daily, depending on what is fresh or in season. This is a hidden little gem in the Vista Entertainment district!

Definitely make reservations. This place is amazing, the menu is what is locally sourced from that day. Our meal was incredible! All seafood offered came from within a couple hours, and my swordfish was cooked perfectly. Now, the best thing ever, was dessert! We had...More

I actually went to Motor Supply several years ago, but nothing on the menu (which changes daily) appealed to me at the time, so we ended up going elsewhere. Despite the fact that everyone raves about it, I never went back. Well, that was my...More

This place was a truly unexpected surprise. Whereas some restaurants live off their marketing, the Motor Supply Company delivers on the promise of locally sourced, high-quality products that are expertly prepared. The bar drinks were top notched (Josh the bartender deserves special recognition), the appetizers...More

I would say that it really isn't all that kid friendly...not that they wouldn't allow kids it's just more of an adult place to be honest.

Located in the historic Congaree Vista with a heated patio and free valet parking, Motor Supply has been serving progressive, New World cuisine using classic French culinary techniques for over 20 years. Led by Executive Chef Wesley Fulmer, the kitchen's lunch, dinner and brunch handwritten menus change daily, featuring contemporary New American cuisine, with nods to Creole, Cajun, New Southern, French, Italian and Asian cuisine. We are Columbia's foremost "farm to fork" restaurant, working with local, sustainable farms for produce, meats, SC seafood and more. Seafood is caught off of the Carolina coast, and all of our stocks, sauces and desserts are made on site, including our charcuterie, with house-made sausages, bacon, country pate, and rillettes, all the way down to the pickles and mustard. Our early 19th century, solid-oak bar with marble columns, imported from Europe, serves 180+ fine wines (Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence, 2006-12), an extensive list of imported, domestic and local craft beers, as well as an artisan farm-to-shaker cocktail list made from house-infused liquors, handmade bitters, barrel-aged spirits and locally-sourced ingredients and garnishes.
