We went here with friends before a game. The guys working there were very friendly and courteous. The service was very slow, and the food was overpriced and just average quality. Some of our friends had appetizers and said they were good.

Have been here several times and it has been good every time. This time I had the fried shrimp with a side salad and Mac& cheese. My boys had shrimp and grits and loved them. Service was fast and good. It is a small place so we always go early for dinner as I am sure it is very crowded!!... More

I visited with a coworker and his wife during a work trip. We had the fried green tomato appetizer which was light and not greasy, very tasty. I had the grilled shrimp po'boy which was delicious along with sides of the Brunswick stew and spicy greens. I could have made a meal of both! My coworker had the shrimp and... More

Came here for a Sunday lunch. Discovered that they, like many places in the area are not licensed to serve alcohol on Sunday's which put the kibosh on a Bloody Mary. They do offer one which is beer based but that didn't work for the bride. The owner explained the arcane liquor laws to us (we are new to the... More

This place is right on campus, in the middle of all that is Clemson, but right on the corner, easily accessible. Owner Jim Oswald offers the freshest sweet oysters on the shell and 6 other ways besides. Try the Mack's Dragos or the Po Boys...Oysters steamed or grilled...Then dont forget the Brisket or Pulled Pork, none better in the Southland.... More

the shrimp was very fresh, and there were enough grits for 2 more meals! The fried pickles (sliced) were very good, and the oysters were also fresh and well rinsed.

Went with a large group of 10 people, college kids ready for graduation.. They have great appetizers to share including Cajun Brochettes, Mac n Cheese Balls, Oysters grilled or fried, and peel and eat shrimp.. order pitchers of beer and you have the makings of a fun, happy feast. The combo platters and smoked meats are excellent. This New Orleans... More

Yes getting your food can be a little slow but PSOB has a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. The food is fantastic especially the smoked sampler, shrimp and grits and all their weekend brunch foods . My favorite was the Southern eggs Benedict, they were not what you expected but the flavor profile is perfect! The kids love coloring on... More

Decided to give this place a try during family weekend. Our waitress wanted nothing to do with us. We had to ask another waitress for water and our appetizer. We got the app and no one visited our table for 20 minutes. 4 tables who got seated after us had thier food 20 mins. Prior to us. We are not... More

You will see us improve. We served almost 1,000 people outside of the restaurant on a few rather large catering events the same weekend you were there. It was also game day weekend therefore It had us a bit short staffed. I heard Outback Steakhouse had the same problems as us. Thanks for the compliment on the shrimp dinner. That... More
