An evening with family was made exceptional by Brian our waiter. Gave great insight to our selection of food and wine. The desserts capped off a perfect meal on our first night on Charleston.

We went in without reservations around 6pm and ate at the bar. The fish with the bean ragu was fabulous. Always a great meal at the Charleston Grill!

This is my favorite fine dining spot in the entire city of Charleston. It has all the advantages of a 1st class restaurant without all the stuffy pretentiousness one usually expects to find at such places. The food is delicious without being ridiculously overpriced. I recommend the Norwegian sea trout. The great service, delicious food, sublime wine list, and general... More

We started our experience by being greeted by the very friendly staff at the front door. Our servers Nelly and Nika were so friendly, warm and welcoming and gave fantastic recommendations on their favourite dishes being the Muddle, Crab Cake and Ahi appetizer. Which we took them up on and were not disappointed. In passing my wife mentioned we were... More

Great spot for fine dining. We went for our anniversary dinner and got the royal treatment. Service is what you would expect in a 4 diamond restaurant - impeccable. We went with the tasting menu w/ wine pairings and it was fabulous. I loved everything, my wife loved everything except the foie gras (weird textured food gets her). The wine... More

Lovely environment. Truly delightful meal. We were a little nervous about taking a 6 year old to such a nice restaurant while on vacation but as soon as we got there they took him to select a chocolate egg and he was sold! The live jazz band made the evening so much fun. Meal was well timed and perfect. The... More

In terms of service, in terms of food quality, Charleston Grill was the best restaurant out of the dozen (all highly rated on TA) we dined at during our 10 day trip through the South. The decor is classy but not stuffy and pretentious. The staff - from host to waitresses to jazz combo - were all attentive, friendly, helpful,... More

My husband and I dined at Charleston Grill on the last night of our weekend trip and it was by far the best overall experience we had. We had dinner at Fig and Circa 1886, which were both amazing in different ways, but Charleston Grill was our favorite (we also had drinks and appetizers at Husk, Amen Street and Poogan's... More

We went to the Charleston Grill for our anniversary dinner, and both agreed it was on our list of top restaurants ever. We tried the pickled oysters for an app: very innovative preparation of delicious little oysters that are somehow briefly pickled, put back in the shell, and served up tasting fresh and briney. Also tried the tuna carpaccio for... More
