On the recommendation of a good friend, we took a chance at getting into S.N.O.B. as this restaurant is also called. The tables were fully booked, as we suspected, but there was a bank of chairs at a curved "bar" facing the kitchen. Perfect! We got to see the various foods being prepared, somewhat separated from us by some of... More

Enjoyed excellent pork chops at S.N.O.B. The service was friendly and attentive. Would recommend this restaurant and we will visit again.

Enjoy an awesome dinner at SNOB. Had the fish special that was so good! My daughter and I split the Strawberry Shortcake dessert, which was the best I ever had---made with corn bread!

We were sent here by our concierge. We were greeted by friendly staff. We enjoyed all the food. The shrimp and grits and swordfish are delicious! Our bus boy was so friendly and asked if we needed recommendations about where to go in Charleston. The ambience, food, and service made for a great meal!

Another great restaurant in Charleston with something on the menu to please everyone. After several days of seafood, I chose the duck and was not disappointed. Perfectly cooked and served with sautéed red cabbage and blue cheese bread pudding. Others in the group ordered shrimp and grits in a tomato sauce that had just the right amount of kick, and... We were in Charleston for the Wine and Food Festival. Did not have a reservation but only had to wait about 15 minutes. Great food and wonderful service! Best shrimp and grits that I have ever had!!

We came for lunch without reservations, and were quickly seated at the chef's table. The Two Bits Cocktail and the White Sangria were excellent! I had chicken livers with grits and my wife had the flounder special of the day. We were totally satisfied and will return during our next visit to Charleston.

We had soft shell crab sandwiches which were tasty and their shrimp and grits were outstanding. It is an attractive restaurant and our server was very good. Good location

Description
Slightly North of Broad is a Lowcountry bistro that brings together an abundance of local ingredients and thoughtful, expert presentation with a friendly, contagious energy. Here the dining room is a natural extension of the kitchen, a place where culinary skill, a clever, considered wine program, warm service, and conversations meld together. Our local farmers, fishermen and producers are as integral to the food we make as they are to our place in this community.
