Excellent service, excellent food. There were three in my party; we started with the peach salad and the beet salad (both were delicious and well-seasoned). For our entrees, we ordered the shrimp & grits, scallops, and swordfish. All three dishes were absolutely incredible, and it...More

Ate there for lunch. The place was packed yet service was good and the food, while not memorable, was very good I liked the southern ambience. Would definitely go back for dinner.

Excellent food and service. Elegant restaurant, great atmosphere, it's crowded but not noisy. The menu is very unique. It's too bad that we weren't too hungry that night, we tried few appetizers. Stuffed squash flower with shrimp paste, braised pork cheeks, grilled Manchester Farm quail...More

Stopped in for lunch, last minute, on a whim… Based on TripAdvisor app’s “best nearby” and the reviews. I had the Pan-Seared Mahi Mahi, yellow wax beans and rainbow carrots, pickled blueberries & tomato vinaigrette. Service was very nice and attentive. Casual, fun atmosphere.

The shrimp and grits was so fantastic! My husband isn't a huge shrimp fan but he loved this dish too. You should come to SNOB just for that! The drinks were great. I didn't care for the gazpacho.

I first ate at SNOB about 18 years ago and have been trying to get back ever since. Due to an illness in the family I was down in Charleston for Memorial Day Weekend. I was lucky enough to secure reservations at 5:15 on Sunday...More

How noisy is SNOB? Can folks hear each other without shouting over the din and music?

This is probably too late. Sorry, I didn't see your question. The restaurant is wide open so it can be a bit noisy but as a party of 2 we had no trouble conversing.

There's a parking lot not too far from this restaurant, historic Charleston is a walking city, which you will do a lot of.

Description
Slightly North of Broad is a Lowcountry bistro that brings together an abundance of local ingredients and thoughtful, expert presentation with a friendly, contagious energy. Here the dining room is a natural extension of the kitchen, a place where culinary skill, a clever, considered wine program, warm service, and conversations meld together. Our local farmers, fishermen and producers are as integral to the food we make as they are to our place in this community.
