Excellent dinner with outstanding staff!! The Lavender Martini at the bar prior to dinner was so delicious !! We love coming here on our visits to Charleston! A definitive on our return business trips to the area.

We stopped in late (close to closing) and were greeted by an enthusiastic hostess who did not treat us like aliens at the hour we arrived. That was refreshing in and of itself. She proceeded to walk us through the highlights of the menu and we appreciated her willingness to help us in that way. We had a wonderful server... More

My husband and I have been coming to Charleston for years. I have always wanted to try Cypress. The decor is fabulous, very elegant chic. Service was wonderful also. We stop by for a light fare. I had then cucumber tuna rolls & beet salad. They were very yummy. My husband had the lobster bisque. It was very bland an... More

My husband and I had our first dinner in Charleston at the Cypress. Amazing. Service was great. I was a little hangry and our waitress went out of her way to find me bread before we ordered. Our waitress explained that the sausages were made on site. Awesome main courses and appetizers. Also beautiful ambiance with a multi story wine... More

Very disappointed. Special birthday occasion, greeting and seating was warm. Lobster bisque was amazing, oysters were, well, oysters! However, the filets- $44.00- were too tough to eat. We (2) took 2/3 home to "fix up", and we did, but the cut of meat was not good. I like Cypress. But it is not the fine dinning experience I expected nor... More

We return to Cypress after a long time away because some friends of ours think of it as their very favorite restaurant in Charleston. Once I always considered it in the top 5, now maybe on the edge of that. Nothing has changed inside, service is excellent and professional, and the menu changes seasonally and shows Craig's inspiration. Prices may... More

Cypress is a beautiful restaurant and everything started off well. We ordered the charcuterie, which Cypress is well known for. This, and the soup and salad that followed were very good. We then waited for our entree, which was one of the specials of the evening. And we waited, and waited, and waited. After 45 minutes of watching others receive... More

The meal was cooked to perfection. The creme brulee glaze was slightly over torched. The drinks were great though slightly overpriced. The waiter was excellent. Very informative, timely, and perceptive as to our needs. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

Cypress is a stunning restaurant visually, and the food does not disappoint. Our server was informative, personable, and attentive, but the star of the show was definitely the food. All six in our party were raving about our meals in terms of presentation and taste. I'd definitely return!

First time visit to Charleston! Great atmosphere, great staff and great food. The oyster-ahi appetizer was amazing as was the charcuterie! Very worth the money!
