They offered me a vegetarian plate that was not on the menu. It was a huge portion of vegetables! Very nice.

We ate here on a Sat evening about 7. We did not have reservations but we got a table without a wait. Good service. Wait staff was efficient if not real personable. Crab soup was great Had the swordfish special that was very good. Dining room was pleasant and comfortable. Did not have room for dessert. They did bring by... More
For a great fine dining experience and famous coconut cake, the Peninsula Grill is a must visit treat. Enjoy dining in their beautiful court outdoors if the weather is nice or the main dining room. I was there for a private dinner function in the Charleston room had was impressive by the service and the quality of the food.
Not as good as last time but still a fine meal. That one would be hard to beat as it was a peak experience. The coconut cake is not to be missed.
This restaurant is amazing! I don't normally dine in places like this, but it was a girl's weekend with no kids. The atmosphere, the service, and food were just all together fantastic. I had a heirloom tomato salad and scallops for the entree. For dessert we tried the coconut cake and banana pudding. Loved it all, the cake is worth... More
We visited the Peninsula Grill for breakfast. The food was very good (a little pricey) with the interior and garden grounds being absolutely beautiful.
We had our most favorite meal here. Eating outside on the patio was a treat. The Lobster appetizer was succulent, the steaks cooked to perfection, the fish was flavorful and moist and the service was impeccable .
While my daughter and I were visiting Charleston, we made all of our reservations thru Open Table after getting suggestions from others. Funny that Peninsula Grill was never one of those suggestions but we took a gamble and made the reservation anyway. WOW, just WOW! I can truly say that this is one of the best meals I've ever had... Our yearly excursion to Charleston, brought us back to the Peninsula Grill, and we were not disappointed! Our very skilled waitress, Danielle, helped us pick out a menu fit for royalty!! The evening specials, Heirloom Tomato 🍅 Salad, with Feta Cheese, and a tasty Vinaigrette, was superb! We also had the Pan Roasted Grouper which was fab! Last, but not... More

We are visiting from San Francisco mid-June. What is the attire and is it normally hot in June? Thanks!
