They've put the 'Porkstrami reuben' on the daily menu now and it is really superb: great taste, lovely mixture of spices and on a rye roll, no less. The cole slaw (wth green apple and pumpernickel in it) along with it was tasty as well. This place continues to represent one of the great things about Charleston: find a treasure... More

I went on a Saturday to be able to get a burger while in town. It was really juicy (greasy) and yummy. I chose to get it plain with mayo on the side instead of how it comes (it comes with pimento cheese, green tomatoes and Applewood bacon- no substitutions). It is supposed to be cooked medium but mine was... More

The food is upscale Deli, and just about the freshest sandwich I have ever had, I had a BLT great bacon out of sight bread, the side coleslaw was very good. Looking at the meat and cheese counter was agony 'I wanted it all', the fresh made sausage looked wonderful and the other meat looked great as well. This is... More

My wife and I wee trying to find a butcher in town and ended up here. Meat is pricey but very good. Had lunch and sandwich was excellent. Ham and Swiss with strong mustard. Fantastic! Wife had the chicken and she loved it.

As someone who has lived in Charleston their entire life and managed one of the top steakhouses in the country I can tell you that the meats being cut in this shop are the freshest and highest quality available in the Tri-County area, and considering the price they're paying their purveyors (I've done my homework) their prices on fresh meat... I was a little disappointed with this place. It didn't have all that great of food given the location. We were looking for a place that had BBQ. There's a BBQ grill behind this place and most of their sandwiches are premade and stored in a fridge. The macaroni salad was pretty good.

I know they don't open on Monday but today's sandwich was dry as a bone. Panini bread to dry to eat and same with the chicken on it. Ted's is always good but not today. Even fruit cup was a little beat.

I was very pleased with my lunch here. Price wise it is on par with a lunch in Charleston.. $9-$12 for a sandwich and side. I had the BLT which was delicious. Salty bacon, yummy garlic flavor with good L & T on it. My side of potato salad was also tasty. Great acid flavor with creamy potatoes. My mother... More

All grass fed beef, heritage pork and overall local and sustainable goodness abounds at Ted's. On my first and only visit to date, they were very accommodating since I wanted a sandwich with no bread. I was served a nice bed of mixed greens topped with in house corned beef, a squirt of spicy mustard (would have liked a little... More

Very friendly and helpful staff. While it is a small establishment, the really focus on service and even went as far as helping select a good beer to go with my excellent pulled pork sandwich
