We had dinner there. You could sit upstairs outside but we didn't. So Cant comment on what that looked like. It is like a bar with wooden tables. Food was not good. It was our first night in Charleston and we were very disappointed in the menu and the food. There is way better places to go. Pass it by.

A few of us dined here on a week night after making a reservation online. We arrived on time, but had to wait about 10 min to be seated. Service was good. The menu was limited due to restaurant week. A bit disappointing they could not also offer their regular menu. We made our choices from the courses. First course... More

We stumbled upon this place after walking the city markets one afternoon. We read the menu posted and a number of things sounded amazing. We were seated on the outside balcony and the view was amazing! Everything we ordered tasted great and was perfect. Our server was fast, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. I recommend this charming place... More

My wife chose this restaurant for its “Restaurant Week” menu. We were planning to meet our son who was ending a bachelor party weekend at the Isle of Palms. The menu looked kind of standard to me, but I said “OK.” When she called for a Sunday lunch they didn’t tell her that the dinner menu wouldn’t be available even... More

Got into Charleston after long day in the air from the West coast. Not really hungry, but wanted something. My wife and I shared their pulled pork nachos, which were out of this world! Instead of corn chips, they used fried pita chips. Really nice flavor and filling. Recommended!

Nothing special. Very friendly and prompt service (I suppose that was special). Corn bread was good. So were the biscuits. Had the crab cakes which were just OK. Not a bad choice but nothing to write home about.

My wife and I decided to try dinner here during Charleston's Restaurant Week. As locals, we had walked by several times, but the menu never really grabbed us. Well, during restaurant week, they had a great price on a 4 course meal with several interesting selections available for the appetizer and main dish, so we mad reservations for Friday evening.... We were looking for a place with Low Country Boil and lucked into a parking spot on Market Street. We were headed to another restaurant down the street but stopped in the bistro after checking out the posted menu. It was a good choice, although we didn't order the Frogmore Stew (LowCoBoil). I had the she-crab soup and Pulled Pork... More

Description
SIMPLY LOWCOUNTRY: Lowcountry Bistro focuses only on the freshest ingredients since all of the food we cook is from scratch. On the menu you will find cult favorites like Chicken and Waffles to Lowcountry classics like Shrimp and Grits. We also believe that great food can be affordable. Many of our lunch dishes are under $10. Our goal as a restaurant is to serve high quality, delicious food, at a fair price. We hope you agree after your meal at Lowcountry Bistro. SISTER RESTAURANT TO 82 QUEEN As an icon of the city for over 30 years, we have seen restaurants come and go. We pride ourselves on the fact that we were one of the first original Lowcountry cuisine restaurants to open their doors in the city. We know Lowcountry and after diligently researching Market Street restaurants, have come to the conclusion that what the area needs is a true, authentic Lowcountry restaurant.
