My wife and visited LowCountry Bistro for lunch. Don't be fooled by the unassuming entrance, this place is delicious. Below were our observations. Staff: Hostess was very friendly. We sat at the bar. The bartender was vibrant and had an strong grasp of the menu. We felt welcomed and appreciated. She steered us toward the crab cake melt and soft... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Got to eat in the little balcony and see the comings and goings of the street. Had a great waiter very kind and genuine. Super food! Best fried green tomatoes all trip. Super yummy bacon potato salad too. A delightful spot in the busy market area. Highly recommend.

We stopped in for lunch. The restaurant was busy, but we were seated within minutes. The staff was so friendly and eager to answer any questions. I started with the bubbly sangria. Loved it. The oysters were the best we had on our trip to Charleston. The shrimp and grits were delicious as well as the jambalaya. The manager, Waylon... More

LowCountry Bistro is a must when you are in Charleston. We will drive out of our way to get to go there. The She-Crab soup is to die for as well as the crawfish fritters. We also eat there at least twice when we are in Charleston

We walked in without reservations but were seated immediately very graciously in a two person table in the corner that we said was acceptable. Nice ! Our hostess told us that our server, Chris, was waiting on another table so he would be a few minutes. Good communication! Chris came within 5 minutes and was great! Very, very pleasant and... More

Heard about this on our carriage ride. Stopped in for lunch and it was not crowded with an amazing menu. Absolutely delicious southern food and seafood. Service was great. Owner walks around and chats. It was a pleasant and fun hidden gem in the middle of downtown. I will come every time we visit!

Our visit for dinner couldn't have been better. My Bourbon Old Fashioned was expertly mixed - good way to start off! Carly, our server, was awesome. Waylon, the GM, stopped by our table to check on everything - we were impressed with the great, friendly, attentive service. Our meals were outstanding - some of us had the soft shell crabs... More

Description
SIMPLY LOWCOUNTRY: Lowcountry Bistro focuses only on the freshest ingredients since all of the food we cook is from scratch. On the menu you will find cult favorites like Chicken and Waffles to Lowcountry classics like Shrimp and Grits. We also believe that great food can be affordable. Many of our lunch dishes are under $10. Our goal as a restaurant is to serve high quality, delicious food, at a fair price. We hope you agree after your meal at Lowcountry Bistro. SISTER RESTAURANT TO 82 QUEEN As an icon of the city for over 30 years, we have seen restaurants come and go. We pride ourselves on the fact that we were one of the first original Lowcountry cuisine restaurants to open their doors in the city. We know Lowcountry and after diligently researching Market Street restaurants, have come to the conclusion that what the area needs is a true, authentic Lowcountry restaurant.
