I saw this small place, so i went in to explore. I found a real French bakery with savory flavors. The almond croissant is better than most other conch bakeries in several states. This is a place to come and enjoy.

This was the last stop on our Chow Down Charleston tour. What a way to end the tour! Cute little shop with excellent service. Large rooms upstairs to sit and relax. We've been to Paris. Since I'm gluten free and a celiac, I adore macarons. Even though I've eaten my share of amazing macarons in Paris, Christophe's are the best... More

Sweet place. We loved the almond croissants and enjoyed them in the quiet back patio. Each cup of coffee is made individually in a press so don't go for coffee if you are in a hurry. It is a special quiet place in bustling Charleston.

When I heard that this little French place existed I knew I had to find it. It beautifully displayed its goods as fine jewels. I enjoyed the French pressed coffee with my pear tartlet. The macaroons where fab as were the 2 choc truffles that my husband and I got to enjoy for later. Just a wonderful treat of a... More

We started a very busy day in Charleston with a perfect treat of coffee, tea, and the most delicious croissants! We enjoyed our treats in the small courtyard and vowed to return again! This is a slice of happiness!

I know people love it. I mean it is a chocolate shop, but I think their coffee is far better than their treats. Though I will say that the treats are beautifully presented and it's really nice to enjoy them on the back porch in warm weather with a cup of really good coffee!

Unique flavors (Earl Grey tea, lavendar caramel, mango rum, bleu cheese) artistically prepared, these are fantastic, unique delicacies.

This is a very nice little cafe with fantastic pastries and chocolate. The coffee was very good, and service was good. The only minor annoyance was the limited seating. The place is small and there are some chair and tables upstairs and a few outside. We had to sit outside since the upstairs was full.

This used to be a must stop for my sweet tooth but not anymore. Very little chocolate to choose from. They replaced it for pasteries. I have had it delivered and was pleased with my selection. I didn't make a purchase on my last visit.

Hello! I am sorry that you feel as if we don't have as much chocolate selection. We actually have the exact same amount of chocolate that we always have had, possibly even more. We have added pastries and desserts and macaron, which many people tend to love, but we have not lessened our chocolate selection. If you were in over... More

I have been here before and got truffles which were fabulous, but went back this weekend specifically for the drinking chocolate. I wanted MORE! I had it hot because it was a bit cool outside. DELISCIOUS!!! Can't wait to go again.

The story of Christophe Artisan Chocolatier-Patissier is, above all else, a story of love. A story that, at its core, is about one man's love for sharing his creations with others and his dedication to his French origins. Christophe Paume is the rarest of artisans, a third-generation French chocolatier, who grew up in his father's patisserie in Toulouse, France. Alongside his father, he learned to create exquisite French pastry, the highest quality chocolates, succulent gelato, and every type of bread imaginable. After attending the CFA de Muret, Christophe moved to Paris and worked at Entremet de France, refining his hand-painted, one-of-a-kind creations of dark, white, and milk chocolate ganache and chocolate truffles. For the next ten years, he continued to work in the family business and traveled to Montreal to work at Patisserie de Gascogne. He also achieved his Brevet de Maitrise, Master in Pastry. While it was his passion for fine chocolate that brought him to the United States, it was love that kept him here. In 2009, he married Carly, and they moved to Charleston SC and formed Christophe Artisan Chocolatier-Patissier.
