My wife and I stumbled onto this place while exploring Charleston on foot last weekend. We popped in for a break and to grab a drink at the bar. It was about an hour before happy hour so the bat wasn't busy yet but started to fill up as We approached happy hour specials. We liked the atmosphere of the... More

Michael our waiter was excellent. Best experience we've had in Charleston. Oysters were excellent. Fried green tomatoes awesome. I had the Tilefish and wife had the crab cakes. Both excellent. Sit at tables on the street and people watch. You won't be disappointed.

We were looking for a place for lunch with great oyster options, and fell into this place on a Monday for lunch based on great TA and Yelp reviews. They weren't wrong. Everything we had was really delicious, especially the fried oysters. Our waiter, Michael was excellent. He explained that the local oysters were super fresh and the other day... More

Having flown in and arriving in Charleston in mid afternoon, my husband and I needed a little something to tide us over until dinner that evening. We happened upon this restaurant near our hotel and grabbed an outdoor table. We each had a cup of their she crab soup and shared the fried oyster appetizer. Both were outstanding. So much... More

We tried the corn dog shrimp first and they were very good. My wife ordered the blackened shrimp which she thought was very good. I ordered the shrimp... More

Loved our dinner here. Got the recommendation from friends for great seafood in the city: Great atmosphere and location, food excellent! We biked here from our hotel, had my two teenagers with me and they liked everything we ordered. Will return!

We were lucky to have our hotel recommend this place. This restaurant is a nice blend of good atmosphere and excellent food. We had lunch, and if I had it to do over again, we would have gone back for dinner. Don't miss this one when you are in Charleston.

This is a seafood restaurant. The menu offers a mixture of fried and other preparations on very fresh seafood. The service is marvelous. You can have your entree prepared almost any way you can think of. All good. I also love their salads, especially the goat cheese beet salad. Their key lime pie and brownie desserts are very good. Great house oysters, expertly shucked, river clams were superb. She crab soup first rate without extraneous ingredients. Tuna tacos first rate, fried local flounder an unexpected treat! Good glass of house rose. All in all, a find!
