The best way to describe this restaurant is it has a very broad menu but does not focus on any one type of cuisine. All the meals I have had there are good but nothing carries bragging rights. It is great for families with young kids. Not too tough on the wallet either. This is a great place to go... More
Sat at the bar, quick to make my drink, food was out in under 10 minutes, offered a variety of good foods, dessert menu had a lot of variety also. Staff was very attentive and polite. Great food, great atmosphere and great staff what more can you ask for.
Clean big bar and side booths for excellent food. Voted best Chowder in RI a few years in a row.. great thin sliced roast beef sandwiches and the best steak fries in Rhode Island.. Try the eggplant fries with marinara sauce. they are to die for.
Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Clam Cakes - definitely recommend trying one especially if you are from out of town. Side ceasar salad amazingly friend and larger portion than expected. Great value, large portions, excellent food quality.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Rhode Island. The food, including the desserts, are delicious; and the prices are very reasonable. Their roast beef sandwich is out of this world! There's plenty of parking and you don't need a reservation.
My husband had the white clam chowder and he said it was very good. He also had the fish which he said was heavy on the garlic. I had the club sandwich which was good. Our server was very good and helpful in making selections.
Chelos is one of my primary stops for food and drink when traveling in and out of PVD. Food is consistently good and service is always very good. Fairly good beer selection and large bar area. Not overly noisy so you can have normal conversations.
