The music was very good. The beer was cold. The place was packed with young and old. Had a good time watching the crowed. And dancing. It looks like a biker bar from the outside but its not.

We come to Jamestown every Summer and the 'gannset is one our favorite stops. Good variety on the menu. The kids love it. Fish and chips is at the top of my list for favorites on menu. Not just because of flavor but portion size,...More

Although it is billed at a cafe, the main attraction seems to be the full service bar. However, lunch customers are catered to nicely. Our server, Bayley, made helpful recommendations regarding the menu and area tourist destinations.

Hadn't been here in years so when friends suggested we stop at the "Ganny" for brunch, I thought "why not". What a trip! It's one of those local joints where everybody knows your name and even if they don't, you feel right at home. Lot's...More

Out of towners are welcomed here also. We stopped for a glass of wine and a light meal on a Saturday afternoon. The fish and chips, lunch portion, was very large and very good! The lobster chowder, on special that day, was tasty also. Friendly...More

For the second time this scenario has occurred , we visited to enjoy a Band and have lunch. We sat along the back wall at a table for four. This place is always understaffed so the wait for service is unbearable. Eventually people we knew...More

Sunday afternoon blues couldn't be better. Crab benedict couldn't have been less appealing. It was cold when it arrived, waitress took it and gave me the same plate back. Now it was not only the wrong temperature, the eggs were hard boiled, hollandaise had no...More

We were vacationing and were told, by locals, to try this bar/restaurant. We enjoyed our soup and lobster roll. Lynn was friendly and helpful.

The Ganny, as the locals call it is a great place for pub fare. The bartender, Denise definately serves the best Rum Punches! The food is consistently good.
