The food is good here. I've only been here for breakfast (several times). Father's Day gets busy, but we always get a seat. We never wait long to get our food. Coffee cup never goes to the bottom.

This is, or at least was for us, a "Road Trip' kind of place in the spirit of a simple basic and fast breakfast but absolutely great quality .... way beyond fast food joints. Sit down table service, informal supported by polite and gracious service. And very fair prices. Seemed to be popular with the locals too. Nice place, very... More

A couple of years ago we thought this restaurant was great! Now the seafood is considerably less than was expected, as we compared to our last visit a couple of years ago. We come to R.I. to visit family and eat loads of fresh seafood.Lobster mmmm The seafood here now seems to be all deep fried. The fresh assortment of... More

The breakfasts there are very good. A lot of variety. I typically order eggs, sausage with home fries and toast. Very good. Worth the wait!

I love this place for breakfast, it is exactly what one would expect of a good diner. Too much food and continuous coffee. Efficient, seasoned wait staff make this a hit.

Decor and atmosphere are lacking and food is pretty good. Prices decent too but not my favorite place.

We were visiting husbands family in home town Coventry for Christmas. Gentleman Farmer is a long standing basic family breakfast/lunch spot with lots of specials and just good cookin. Had the banana muffin French toast with eggs bacon and home fries. The best home fries ever and the banana French toast was just like eating a muffin. Very good. Very... More

My wife and I were meeting a friend here while visiting RI. We moved away some time ago and had been to the old location in the past. We all ordered the fish and chips and it was top quality with huge portions. I may just be used to cheaper southern prices, but at $40 for three orders, it seemed... More
